Staff were friendly but not efficient, disorganized beverage cart only around once, close to end of round. Expected more for the price that was oaid

Very interesting and different course, lots of moguls if you're a skier you know what I mean. Links style course in that regard. On a dry day it would be great, but because of the rain, we were required to stay on the cart path so there's significant up and down walking to get to and from your ball. In wet conditions, hit your ball close to the cart path ! Still fun to play.

We have not played here for awhile due to do poor conditions of the golf course. Someone has finally spent some money making this a decent golf course to play.

The pace of play was still grueling at almost 5 hours.

People at course were outstanding...very friendly and helpful

The course is just ok. The fairways had some grassy areas and some bare spots. There was a lot of standing water due to the recent rains...not the fault of the course. But losing balls in the fairway is never a good thing.

The greens were fine...not great put very playable. Tee boxes were OK for the most part...some were a little shaggy.

In general, at a time when it is extremely difficult to find affordable tee times, it was place to play some golf. There are better and way more expensive tracks in the area...and there are many that are not as good as this one. The off course facilities and the people make Kokapelli a decent option to get out and hit it

Course is horrible shape with standing water everywhere ( its in the middle of the desert). No one told me it was cart path only until we went on fairway 1st hole. I would discourage anyone from wasting the money and time playing this course. Lost no less than 6 golf balls in mud puddles….

Stay away

Course not in real good shape. Granted lots of rain. Front nine roughs are a red clay??? Clover in what had grass could not find balls!! Tees should have been mowed. If a course has sand traps try to take care of them. Nothing done on traps. Unfortunate rain did have something to do with conditions but not sure would change a lot here

The course was in very good condition. Play was a little slow but it worked out to get our 18 holes in. I would definitely go back and play again

A good course could be better. The front 9 (which used to be the back 9) is tough on the eyes. Less player friendly because of the hard pan areas which seem to take up 30-40% of each hole. Some loving care to build the front 9 to resemble the back 9 would go a long way to move from a locals only course to a top tier must play course. Green speeds; challenging! Back 9 fairways; lush! Bunkering throughout; impressive & challenging! Water features; wide & deep! Customer service in all areas of operation; outstanding!

Course was in reasonable shape with the exception of a couple of holes. Lying water in a few places. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The course had many dry clay areas but the but if you were on the fairways you had grass. Front 9 greens were slow and back 9 were much better. Tees were okay but a few needed cutting. Sand traps varied, some were hard with very little sand. There were no ball washers and very few garbage bins. A course map on the card or hole map at tee markers would be beneficial. The course has potential if the owners paid attention to the little details. #18 is in the best condition, no carts allowed.

The course was wet due to the big rains so understandly had to stay on cart paths. Despite that, we still finished in 4 hours 15 minutes. Fairways and greens were in good shape but due to rain off the fairways were quite muddy so we just did clean and place. Carts were good and thought price was reasonable. Only surprising thing is clubhouse was closed when we got off course at 3pm but pro shop fellow was happy to grab us couple of drinks for us and others. But still think full service should be available at that time; perhaps lack of staff? Overall, a good experience!
