Kokopelli Golf Course
About
Located a short distance from Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix and Arizona State University, Kokopelli Golf Course is a championship length course that offers many interesting challenges. The rolling terrain creates sloping greens and undulating fairways. A majority of the teeboxes and greens are elevated as well. The course also has large multiple island tees and water hazards in the form of meandering lakes that come into play on several holes. The signature hole of Kokopelli Golf Course is the par-5 18th hole. The dramatic finishing hole calls for a shot off an elevated too followed by an approach shot past water to an elevated green.

Is this round over yet?! Photo submitted by u000001335906 on 01/03/2015
Bad shape
This is a cheap course so what can you expect, staff was great, greens were great. Fairways are the worst I have seen, very long grass where there is grass and mud everywhere, I won’t come back. Again though I stress, the staff was awesome!
At the time I played this course it feel $40 is a fair price. The greens and tee boxes were fine. The areas between them were mostly dirt. Not much grass at all.
Some tee boxes were missing the markers.
We played our round very quickly which was nice. The staff I interacted with were nice.
For the right price I will play it again.
Not the best for the cost
There were practice balls all over the course not just on 9 and 10. There are not enough signs to guide you through the course. Grass was long on the back nine long enough to loose balls in the fairway.
overseeding
I think all courses should have to advertise if it is golf cart path only before you pay for green fee
Paying 55 per round is a fair price but we had to do a lot of walking because of golf cart path only. I would have rather went to a course and walked for a lot lesser price
Kokopelli Oct 1 to Nov 1
Course was quite wet with large areas of muck & slippery mud. If I knew conditions ahead of time I would have played somewhere else.
Reasonable priced coirse
Just re seeded. So we knew what to expect. Did not like the loud rock music playing near driving range, putting area, chipping area and first tee box pus parking lot.....this is golf!!!!! Not a bowling alley!!!
Matt
I read the reviews before I went and they were pretty bad. I know that reviews are just people’s opinions but the reviews were very accurate. I felt like I was off reading all day and I got dust in my face all day. If you hit a low line drive, it’ll run for another 100+ yards and that means that there’s no grass. Literally, no grass on the fairways. It dirt everywhere. That course would be worth $10 for 18 holes. The carts made noises like no other as well. I’m not one to bash any courses or companies, but this was by far the worst course I have played down here in the Valley. Wasn’t worth $45 at all. They need to put money into that course like other. And $7 for a small bucket of range balls. I think I got 20 balls max to hit before teeing off.
Rough Shape
Great Deal on Tee Off
Course was in rough shape
Tee boxes, Fairways, Greens
Dirt everywhere. Grass was hard to find.
Would not recommend playing here till they
Grow some grass
