Kokopelli Golf Course

There is mention from pro shop or starter on the condition on their bunkers on this course. I didn’t know they were so bad until hole 4 . When I found my ball, I was stunned from what I saw. It was full of grass and dirt. These bunkers probably had no work on them for months. I tried to hit out of it, and flew the green by 20 yards. Rest of round I took a drop. The best part of Kokopelli are the slope of the greens and tees. You need good accuracy off the tee because of the tight fairways. Hole 18 is the widest one. I still enjoyed my round of golf here. Next time I will ask about the bunkers.

Staff was good and were very much on point to all our needs.

Course: Greens and tees were good and where there was grass in the fairway was good also. This course needs a landscaping crew to spend a week on each hole.

no sand in the bunkers

No (little) water in the lakes. Some lakes were so overgrown water was not visible. Evasive plants taking over the course. None fairway areas were overgrown with knee high weeds. Erosion has not been addressed in years. Trees and bushes not trimmed in years. huge areas of standing water....No recent rain. No!!! they are not a lakes. Paid $59 for 9 holes and course was full of golfers. NOT ONE DOLLAR is going into maintenance other than mowing. I played the back 9, man I played with says the front nine is worse. I drove home thanking God I never bought a house in that community. The Management company should be embarrassed

First time playing, took some clients and was very disappointed in the golf course. Conditions have to be the worst in the valley, hard pan dirt everywhere and no sand in bunkers however there are plenty of weeds. At some point I'm sure this was a great golf course but funding must be non existent as there are some basic things that could make this course much better. Greens are challenging but fair and in good shape.

Fantastic course that seems to have fallen on hard times in recent years with regards to course upkeep.

I love the course but a lot of the bunkers are in shocking disrepair.

I also feel for the greenskeeper and his crew. They are either rubbish or what I feel is closer to the truth, totally overwhelmed.

This course needs a massive influx of funds to improve the drainage and the dirt areas.

Greens and fairways are still good though.

And please send someone out every day to PICKUP THE RANGE BALLS THAT FLY OVER THE FENCE.

Good course - fix the bunkers and get rid of the dirt and mud. Planting grass might be a start!!!!!!!!!!

The condition isn’t great but it is a good layout and the staff is really friendly.

Reading the reviews this course did not sound great. However we choose to play there anyway to make our own decision. Love the course. Yes needs some work but my understanding is they are slowly working on that. Will be such a nice course when the work is done.

The condition of fairways and greens are ok, below average I’d say, but the bunkers were the worst imaginable. Absolutely no sand. Only weeds and hard pack dirt. Every single bunker is in this kind of condition. I’ll never play an Arcis course again. The rate wasn’t bad, but definitely not worth any price. Even on some greens the former holes aren’t level with the rest of the green. But overall just the horrific bunkers resulted in this 1 star rating. Don’t play there.

This course is in the worst condition of any course I've played....ever!!! The pace of play was equally as brutal. It took us over 5.5 hours to play. I would not recommend playing here...ever!!!! It's too bad because the last time I played here was around 5 years ago and it was in much better shape. The cart girl even said she'd come around again after asking us on the second hole if we needed anything and we didn't see her again.

Started 2:50 ish and ended up 11 hole.

As usual, no sand in the sand traps except some holes. Delayed several groups almost every hole except first and second hole....

this course could be a real gem if labor was put into some upkeep. Bunkers were totally unplayable, dead spots on fairways greens were great. And put a sign up how to get to the 1st tee box!

No level place to put pins on greens. No sand in traps.

It took 2 1/2 hours to play 9 so we did not get all 18 holes played

Being here from Iowa to play golf and not finish our round was disappointing

Needed a Ranger to keep play moving

I’ve never seen a golf course that just did not care about the curse conditions. Sand traps are just a hazard for a free drop. No sand. Please put some money in this course! It can be good!!

Tee markers are a guess for the position

No directional arrows

Perimeter play is impossible

Fairways are very narrow as a result no maintenance in the rough (under statement)

The course was not overall was a mess.

Bunkers were not playable.No sand,not groomed and growing weeds in 95%of them.

If your tee shot was off the fairway,you were hitting off of hard clay.Tree areas were not trimmed of broad leafed weeds.

If the course was more manicured it would be a nice course to suggest.There are better courses to choose from despite what I paid.Mike

we quit after l9 holes since it had been 3.5 hours already and the course was in poor condition. Staff was friendly but not enough to continue play.
