Kokopelli Golf Course

Has gone sadly downhill. Needs a lot of work to bring it back.

Just Wow! SHAME ON ME! Shame on me for giving Kokopelli another shot. 🤦‍♂️ My wife likes to play with me and we’ve played all the easier tracks every week and thought “let’s give it one more shot since we haven’t played there in 9 months (even though we promised never again). If they weren’t doing a full remodel on their driving range I would swear they are just about ready to shut it down. The course was literally impossible to play. We were the only ones on the course.

Very disappointing for a course that has great potential.

It is amazing how this course is still open, due to the fact that after anybody plays this course one time they will never ever play it or recommend it to anyone again,

It would seem after being open for so long and reading reviews that are so horrific there still must be first time golfers and a steady stream of first-time golfers who attempt to think this is going to be an actual golf course,

Hopefully you are reading this review before thinking about playing this course believe me and all the other reviews it is definitely not worth the time and or your money

This course is in terrible condition. I was extremely disappointed in the condition of the course for that price. One hole was completely closed, the rest were mostly dirt, swamp, or the muddy in between.

This is by far the worst golf course I have ever played in my 30 years of playing golf. It is insulting that they charge $54 to play this piece of garbage. The fairways were half grass (weeds) and half dirt. The tee boxes were trash and the bunkers had no sand in them. They couldn't open the driving range that day because it rained and the entire driving range was dirt/mud. Stay away from this dumpster of a course. The worst course in Arizona hands down. I will never play here again. Has potential if it was kept in good condition.

Course was in horrendous condition. They should be closed. More dirt then grass. Awful.

I consider myself a beginner, that being said, this was an excellent course. Not busy at all, was able to have a lot of time to complete my round, and being that I am an extreme newbie, I don't want to spend a fortune for my round, at least not until I am halfway decent. Perfect course if you want to hang out with you buddies, looking to have fun and or if you are not a seasoned golfer!

Course was in bad shape don’t play here. Dirt fairways. 61 bucks was a waste of money.

The course is in horrendous condition. It looks like a bomb went off in the fairway. For 35$ a round there are numerous better courses.

Will was very nice at the end when finishing the course. Other than that it was a pretty poor course. So many hills, the layout was atrocious. The holes weren’t numbered so it was hard to figure out where to start. Wouldn’t recommend this course to my 5 year old kid who just started golf. He would’ve quit the game on the spot if I brought him. Overall bad experience.

Do not play here, the course conditions are so bad that they shouldn't even be open. Whats even more wild is they are charging $54 for a round. Which is about $15 more than all the surrounding courses some of which are in good condition. There was literally mold and algae in the sand bunkers. To be honest i don't even know if its safe for people to be playing on. It feels like you are playing golf in a post apocalyptic dystopia, trees dead and dying fallen over on the course. Overgrown branches and roots sticking out of the ground. Dirt mud and clay with some grass sprinkled onto the fairways. The water hazards partially evaporated with mold and algae lining the sides of where water once was. Views of junked cars towering over the chain linked fence barrier that separates the fairway to the neighboring property.

What made this experience even more strange is the greens were actually pretty good ‍

About 7ish years ago i played here a lot and the course was really awesome and kept in decent condition.

The fairways were in absolutely horrible shape. There was not much grass to be found and what there was was by no means plush. Course is under new management. I will give them a year or two before I go back and try again. It was very slow with a 5-some two groups in front of us.

Worse course I’ve ever played!!!! Don’t waste your money here. We played 7 holes and left.
