Kokopelli Golf Course

Nice course. T Box, fairways and greens in good condition! Rough well it's shaggy and or dirt. DO NOT GO INTO THE TRAPS... ITS DIRT AND WEEDS. Traps need lots of work. Water holes need water on a few of them. Cleaning and edging, water and actual traps could make this a great course. Will I play again, yes. It's a nice course to keep your game in check.

course conditions except greens was terrible , no yardage markers to find distance to green, puddles allover the course, , no push carts, bunkers are unplayable and nobody let me know, way over priced

This was my first time I played this course and it was very well maintained. The staff was extremely nice and the cost for a meal included for two people was outstanding m. The omelette was amazing. I would definitely play here again and recommend this course to anyone traveling to the area.

This course has a very interesting layout. The staff is friendly and professional. The greens were overly gimmicky, too much on the undulation. But the real drawback is that the course is covered with bunkers which are mere scrabbly dirt. No sand in them at all. Worse? They were filled with weeds. They are letting a very nice track go to pot. Kind of a shame.

We teed off at 1:16 pm and finished at 6:07 pm. We played behind 4 very slow moving British Columbians, two of whom could barely advance a golf ball. And to think that they make fun of Newfies.

They were told by a course staff member to let us play thru on hole # 11 and they simply refused.

greens were good but fairways were a little ruff and some places was a lot of just dirt.

Course is in terrible shape, dirt mounds everywhere, no sand...either commit to making the course playable or shut it down...

I’ve played here a few times, but that was a while ago. The greens were in great shape, as was the middle of the fairways (most of them). But off the fairway maintainence was just bad. And I have no clue what they are doing with the waste areas, formerly known as bunkers. I’m sorry, but I won’t be back.! That was just bad.

The condition of course was good, the condition of the course surrounding the fairways was terrible!

There is mention from pro shop or starter on the condition on their bunkers on this course. I didn’t know they were so bad until hole 4 . When I found my ball, I was stunned from what I saw. It was full of grass and dirt. These bunkers probably had no work on them for months. I tried to hit out of it, and flew the green by 20 yards. Rest of round I took a drop. The best part of Kokopelli are the slope of the greens and tees. You need good accuracy off the tee because of the tight fairways. Hole 18 is the widest one. I still enjoyed my round of golf here. Next time I will ask about the bunkers.

Staff was good and were very much on point to all our needs.

Course: Greens and tees were good and where there was grass in the fairway was good also. This course needs a landscaping crew to spend a week on each hole.

No (little) water in the lakes. Some lakes were so overgrown water was not visible. Evasive plants taking over the course. None fairway areas were overgrown with knee high weeds. Erosion has not been addressed in years. Trees and bushes not trimmed in years. huge areas of standing water....No recent rain. No!!! they are not a lakes. Paid $59 for 9 holes and course was full of golfers. NOT ONE DOLLAR is going into maintenance other than mowing. I played the back 9, man I played with says the front nine is worse. I drove home thanking God I never bought a house in that community. The Management company should be embarrassed

First time playing, took some clients and was very disappointed in the golf course. Conditions have to be the worst in the valley, hard pan dirt everywhere and no sand in bunkers however there are plenty of weeds. At some point I'm sure this was a great golf course but funding must be non existent as there are some basic things that could make this course much better. Greens are challenging but fair and in good shape.

Fantastic course that seems to have fallen on hard times in recent years with regards to course upkeep.

I love the course but a lot of the bunkers are in shocking disrepair.

I also feel for the greenskeeper and his crew. They are either rubbish or what I feel is closer to the truth, totally overwhelmed.

This course needs a massive influx of funds to improve the drainage and the dirt areas.

Greens and fairways are still good though.

And please send someone out every day to PICKUP THE RANGE BALLS THAT FLY OVER THE FENCE.

Good course - fix the bunkers and get rid of the dirt and mud. Planting grass might be a start!!!!!!!!!!

The condition isn’t great but it is a good layout and the staff is really friendly.

Too my nephew out who is a newer golfer and it was perfect for him

Reading the reviews this course did not sound great. However we choose to play there anyway to make our own decision. Love the course. Yes needs some work but my understanding is they are slowly working on that. Will be such a nice course when the work is done.
