About
The golf course at the Western Skies Golf Club has a traditional layout with many different challenges and beautiful views. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and valleys, the course offers a taste of the countryside, which is further enhanced by the many aged Mesquite and Pinon trees sprinkled throughout. It features tree-lined fairways with generous landing areas and tricky water hazards. Two notable holes are the 4th and 7th holes, both par 3s. Although it is a modest 186 yards, the 4th hole requires a carry over water to a heavily bunkered green. Western Skies Golf Club's 18th hole is a drivable par four with water along the right side, making this an exciting finishing hole.

Easy and enjoyable
If you want to shoot a good round, play here. It’s wide open, flattish greens, good condition. Very hard to lose a ball. Pace of play was good. Price was good. Only complaint is the music blasting from the clubhouse.
Greens bit bumpy
Greens a bit bumpy. Still CPO. Better shape than I've seen it. Decent little course
Good course
Because of over seedling it was carpath only. I paired with really nice guys. The green and sand traps were great. The fairways was a little rough.
Ill pay there anytime i get a chance.
Great value for the money, course is in great condition. Only negative was we had to stay on cart path everyt hole. will definitely come back.
Pretty good value for money.
Reasonable green fee. Course was ok though greens were on the slow side. Overall a fairly Ho hum layout with too many bare waste areas. However had an enjoyable day.
Two Nines
I enjoy playing this course, however, pace of play came to a crawl when we hit the back nine. The pro shop was letting people off the back in two's. We played the front nine in 1:45 and the back nine in 2:45. At several points there were 3 (one time 4) groups on the same hole. I understand getting groups out on the back in the mornings, but they should be doing them in foursomes.
Fun Course, Really Nice People!
This course is straightforward and easy to score. Good practice for all skill levels. I can't say enough about the good people that work there! They all treat me with great kindness and understanding each time I go there. You'll love Western Skies! Richard R.
