About
The golf course at the Western Skies Golf Club has a traditional layout with many different challenges and beautiful views. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and valleys, the course offers a taste of the countryside, which is further enhanced by the many aged Mesquite and Pinon trees sprinkled throughout. It features tree-lined fairways with generous landing areas and tricky water hazards. Two notable holes are the 4th and 7th holes, both par 3s. Although it is a modest 186 yards, the 4th hole requires a carry over water to a heavily bunkered green. Western Skies Golf Club's 18th hole is a drivable par four with water along the right side, making this an exciting finishing hole.

A Little Rough
First time here. Price was right. Overall course was in fair condition. Greens were so so. Rough and areas around the greens were poor. Fairways were spotty. Pro Shop staff was very friendly. Beverage cart lady was also very nice.

My wife and friends have played here 2x's in the last month. We both appreciate the staff, pace of play and course layout. A lot of fun. We'll be back and bringing more freinds....

I love this course, and I love their people. The course is (somehow) always in perfect shape, and the people there treat everyone like royalty. It's a fun course with lots of scoring opportunities, and you'll have a great time. FIVE STARS! Richard R.
Western Skies
Fun course, moderately challenging with quick greens. We finished in 3 1/2 hours, even though the tee sheet was full in the morning!
Would highly recommend Western Skies as good value for the money. Playing there again later this week!
If You Can't Score Here, You Can't Score!
Western Skies is a super forgiving golf course, and it's in fantastic shape 12 months a year! Wide fairways, lots of bailout room, big, flat, soft greens and 9 of the 10 par 4's are under 340 yards to the front. (from the white tees) If you can't score here, it's your fault! In pretty good shape for this time of year. Great pace.
Good course good condition
New to Mesa area golf. Found this course and glad we played. Nice layout, generous fairways and in good shape overall. Greens roll true and smooth. Good value for your $ in this area. Will play again. Nice practice area too.
Friendly Layout, Friendly Staff!
The layout at Western Skies is very forgiving, and the fairways and greens are perfect, 12 months a year. The staff there always treat me like family, (and I'm not that easy.) Five Stars for Western Skies!
More like a Muni course
There is a lot of open dirt area on this course. It is very dry and dusty. With the wind it was like being in a dirt storm. The conditions were not great. Greens fast and hard. You could put from 25 yards out due to the dry and compact conditiions around the green,
