About
The golf course at the Western Skies Golf Club has a traditional layout with many different challenges and beautiful views. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and valleys, the course offers a taste of the countryside, which is further enhanced by the many aged Mesquite and Pinon trees sprinkled throughout. It features tree-lined fairways with generous landing areas and tricky water hazards. Two notable holes are the 4th and 7th holes, both par 3s. Although it is a modest 186 yards, the 4th hole requires a carry over water to a heavily bunkered green. Western Skies Golf Club's 18th hole is a drivable par four with water along the right side, making this an exciting finishing hole.

Fast Play, Forgiving Course, Great People!
I played on Wednesday in 2 hours and 35 minutes. This is a great course, always in great shape, and the people that work there are super nice! Five Stars!

Fun Course, Fun Staff
You'll love Western Skies. That is, if you like playing fast, on great grass, wide fairways, big flat greens, and excellent service! Five stars!
Welcome Back
Its been at least 5 years since I played the course and the other reviews did not lie. The investments in money and greens staff have paid off beautifully. Even with the overwatering the course drained well and was very playable. Greens were a little slow, but again that's summer golf in AZ. The staff was very friendly and pace of play was 3.5 hours at 6:50am.
I will definitely put this back in my rotation

Forgiving Course, Nice Staff.
I love Western Skies Golf Course. I think you will too. Wide fairways, big flat greens, not too many bunkers, and onboard GPS make this course pretty easy. And the people there are always super friendly! Five Stars!
Friendly course
Nice course, it was in great condition for this time of year. Greens and fairways were in great shape. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The only negative was we had a 7am time and their was no food or drink service available. Sure missed my coffee. I'll be back for sure.

Glow up
Western Skies used to be an average track, but they've stepped up course maintenance, amenities, etc., and have made the course great value for the price. Always enjoy playing here.

You'll like Western Skies. I love it. It's a very forgiving course, and the people there will be very friendly and helpful. (I should know, I need a lot of help! lol) Enjoy!
Course was in great shape ( minus a ground under repair area) the only issue were that the greens were running slow

The staff is great! The course is forgiving but could really use more water stations on the hot days ( all summer) but always love playing here!
Quality as always
The course was in really great shape considering its 110+. I played a similarly priced course a couple weeks ago and it was in terrible shape. Western is the best quality and value and always a top choice. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, practice green was well kept and consistent with the greens on the course, love the layout.. long fairways are wide and parallel to other long fairways, so even misses can be forgiving, making the course fun for even beginners. If there was anything to not rate a perfect 10, it’d be bunkers… Some a little soggy, others completely dry and rock solid… but to be fair, maintaining light fluffy sand in Arizona summers is a tall task and they’re still better than most. Love playing here!
Fun Course, Nice People!
Wide flat fairways and big soft greens make this a great course to score on. It's long from the tips, but very friendly from the forward tees. The grass is always perfect, and the people there are so friendly! Even to me! Especially Maddie, Pays, Mike, Ed, Kyle, Isaac, Geoff and even Jim! lol I love this course! (I shot 76 from the white tees!)
