In addition to the golf course itself, Western Skies provides a well-rounded golf experience, including a cutting-edge practice facility featuring a driving range enhanced by Inrange technology, putting greens, areas for short-game practice, and learning programs. Golf enthusiasts can also shop at a fully stocked pro shop and dine at Mulligans Grill, the club's restaurant and sports bar, making it a favorite spot to visit both before and after a round.
Positioned conveniently just minutes away from Loop 202 and US-60, and around 20 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Western Skies appeals to both local players and tourists. The club fosters a friendly environment underscored by its tagline, "Where Locals Bring Their Friends," highlighting its commitment to customer satisfaction, affordability, and community involvement. Golfer Reviews
Great Course, Great People!
Five Stars for Western Skies. The course is always in fantastic shape, and the entire staff there are super friendly and helpful. You'll like Western Skies.
always good but..........
Played Western Skies this past Tuesday and found the course to be in prett good shape. Greens were running pretty quick and the bunkers are in good shape with plenty of sand.My only complaint was the group in fron us us consisting of four older gentlemen were very slow. Finally called the proshop to suggest someone have a look as they were holding uo thw whole course. The Marshall drove by us and then right past them and never said a word. What a waste of gas! At this time of year when it gets dark early and everyone wants to finish their round the course should be on top of things like that.
Ma-ma-ma-mid
Not worth 78 dollars, extremely dry rough, decent/well maintained fairways. Boring layout. However very friendly staff and amazing pace of play but course conditions are my number one indicator of coming back and this one was 5/10 conditions.
just another day in paradise
Western Skies is doing much better at keeping the course well kept.
Decent course, good pace of play on a cool day
Cool day, moved right along.
Decent course and conditions.
A bit over watered in places.
Fun Course, Fantastic People!
Western Skies is always in great shape, 365 days a year. The wide fairways and big greens make it fun for all skill levels. But it's the people there that make it special. Including Jim, Kyle, Ed, Tanner, Matt, Parker, Maddie, Pays, and the whole crew. They will all treat you like family! (They do for me, and I'm a handful!) Five Stars!
Nice and decent course
Looks well taken care of
Grass outside of fair was yellow but overall not bad at all
Decent courses for the money
A course I enjoy
We play here once or twice each winter as snowbirds. Yesterday's round was played in 3:50, which actually felt just a bit rushed. But, better than too slow. Conditions were good as they usually are. Get too far off the fairways and you will find yourself in the dirt. Greens rolled fast. I like this course in the $50-$75 range. Not worth more than that in my opinion.
Great value for your money
Greens, fairway is excellent the bunker lot of sand
Good course
Great course a drive from Apache Junction its was worth it.
