About
The golf course at the Western Skies Golf Club has a traditional layout with many different challenges and beautiful views. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and valleys, the course offers a taste of the countryside, which is further enhanced by the many aged Mesquite and Pinon trees sprinkled throughout. It features tree-lined fairways with generous landing areas and tricky water hazards. Two notable holes are the 4th and 7th holes, both par 3s. Although it is a modest 186 yards, the 4th hole requires a carry over water to a heavily bunkered green. Western Skies Golf Club's 18th hole is a drivable par four with water along the right side, making this an exciting finishing hole.

Forgiving Course, Nice People
I like this course so much! It's always well maintained by the great crew, and I can score here. The staff are all great, including Jim, Kyle, Ed, Mike, Isaac, Donald, Matt, Ryan, Payson and Kelly. Richard R.
The Skies
Staff is great, course is fun and challenging and we call it our home course. My son loves going here to play so we make it a regular thing (he's 12). Great equipment, value and conditions. The restaurant (Mulligan's) is great also.
Great Course, Great People
Western Skies is a forgiving course with mostly wide fairways, short par 4's and big flat greens. This year, almost all their bunkers have wet sand, though. (This wasn't true in the past.) The staff are great people that put up with me! Richard R.

One f the fastest rounds I have played in ages as there were no golfers ahead of us(until the 14th hole)
Great course to play
Beautiful course! There were a few spots where it was a little muddy. Wasn’t marked and I couldn’t tell till I stepped in it. Other than that it was nice. Pace was relaxed and enjoyable. Had a great time!
Forgiving Course, Nice Staff.

Great Course
Great course ! Unfortunately the person I played with was really slow. No ones fault but mine. He’s a good friend.
Also don’t help that my driver broke on the first tee so that didn’t help. Oh well, it was still a great day.
Course in Good Shape
The course, fairways and greens were in good shape. The layout and elevation of the course is rather plain ... flat and not too many obstacles. It was well maintained. The greens were a little spotty .. but fast.
The restaurant, Mulligan's, was closed when I was there on a Monday. That was disappointing. I looked in and all the chairs were up on the tables.
I was skeptical of the "overlording" rules as stated in the website. No single carts, no personal carts, no .....no... but since it was a hot Monday there was little volume and I got to use a cart by myself. Besides, I don't rent carts, I move into them.
Even though it was a slow Monday, the beverage cart (with 2 girls) was making frequent rounds. That was nice.
Management needs to pay attention
Course was decent but painfully slow group 2 groups ahead of us and never once saw a marshall. The beverage girl was absolutely worthless. The only two times we encountered her was we saw her at the turn while she was just hanging out at the clubhouse and second time was when we were driving in after finishing 18 and she drove by trying to make a sale. Pathetic!
Needs a marshal & we were thirsty
Course was in decent shape. Needs a marshal. The foursome 2 groups in front of us was over 2 holes behind, so we ended up waiting on most shots.
Only saw the beverage cart once when she was restocking her cart on 10. With a 5 hour round, I expect to see the cart more than once.
