About
The golf course at the Western Skies Golf Club has a traditional layout with many different challenges and beautiful views. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and valleys, the course offers a taste of the countryside, which is further enhanced by the many aged Mesquite and Pinon trees sprinkled throughout. It features tree-lined fairways with generous landing areas and tricky water hazards. Two notable holes are the 4th and 7th holes, both par 3s. Although it is a modest 186 yards, the 4th hole requires a carry over water to a heavily bunkered green. Western Skies Golf Club's 18th hole is a drivable par four with water along the right side, making this an exciting finishing hole.

A little rough around the perimeter
Pace of play was bad because we were behind a bachelor party. Many bare spots in the rough. Layout and greens were good!
The only complaint was the pace of play. We are use to 3.5hrs. of play, this took almost 5
Nice course
This is a nice course for the money, I have completed a round on 2 1/2 hr on the summer, but winter is crowded and a round may take up to 4 hrs
Group 2 groups in front of us were horrible, no idea of golf fundamentals, which is fine as long as you keep up with the pace of play. Hole ten, 3 foursomes waiting, on hole 11 the club pro stepped in and finally got them moving making them skip 12. We caught up with them again on 13 but they were better about keeping pace of play.
Played with 3 other singles and had a great time with them.
Pace of Play
Played the first nine in 2 hours, which was great. However, when we got to the 10th tee there were three groups backed up in front of us. Not sure how that could happen
Not worth $90
Western Skies is a really good course always in a good shape but for a local who plays Western Skies a lot it’s just not worth $90. Pace of play was good until there was a 30 wait on hole 12 and some slow play that made our round go from 3 hours to 4 hours
Good value.
Course is in good shape and I would definitely play it again. It's a good value considering the cost of golf in Arizona at this time of year.
Disappointed that the restaurant closes by 6 so you can't get a beer/bite after......
Enjoyed the course the conditions were decent and the pace of play was good and staff was very good.
