About
The golf course at the Western Skies Golf Club has a traditional layout with many different challenges and beautiful views. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and valleys, the course offers a taste of the countryside, which is further enhanced by the many aged Mesquite and Pinon trees sprinkled throughout. It features tree-lined fairways with generous landing areas and tricky water hazards. Two notable holes are the 4th and 7th holes, both par 3s. Although it is a modest 186 yards, the 4th hole requires a carry over water to a heavily bunkered green. Western Skies Golf Club's 18th hole is a drivable par four with water along the right side, making this an exciting finishing hole.

Easy layout
Flat desert track, straight holes with a little bit of water. If you keep your ball in play you will score well!

Great Course
Simple beginner course, have only played two rounds ever and both have been on this course. Fun course to play with some friends to better your game. Great staff!
Waste of money
The course and neighborhood around it is super dumpy. Overpriced for what it is. I wouldn’t recommend or play it again.
Course in good shape
Course is in good shape. The fairways are a bit dry (it's Arizona) but that helps the ball roll a bit longer. Speed of play was a bit low. We had a 4-some in front of us where one player clearly needed to first go to a driving range to lern how to hit. But that person hit and picked up the ball and then played from where the others were. It made the speed slow down but not terrible
Great Greens, Boring layout
Flat layout which is basically straight away with a few ponds in play.
Greens were in great shape - comparable to a $200 course.
Nice staff, great restaurant with below average prices. Food was good - Margs were better!
Bad pace and rough around the edges
Good greens and layout! Pace was bad behind a bachelor party. Was difficult to find grass in the rough.
