The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course
About
Located in the west valley, The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course (formerly known as the Legend at Arrowhead Golf Club) is an Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay-designed golf course with a traditional layout. The challenging course has six lakes creating water hazards on many of the holes and several doglegs. The difficult to read greens are undulating and in excellent condition. Each hole, except for one, has bunkering on the fairways or protecting the greens. The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course's signature hole is the par-4, 426-yard fifth hole. It calls for a shot off an elevated tee with water running along the right side of the fairway as well as next to the green.

Fun course, too hot in Phx
I love this course, I learned how to play golf here. I also love the wildlife presence with all the geese and birds, but some holes had goose poo literally every where. You couldn't play any hole without stepping in or having your ball roll through goose poo. Also the leaves that fall off of the trees made being able to see your ball from a distance very tough. If they would clean the goose poo and the tree leaves up, this course would totally be worth the $46 I paid for a Sunday morning 6:45am tee time. But with those variables, I feel as if I way overpaid for a round of golf on a moderately maintained neighborhood golf course. I will be back, but not until November when the temperature begins to drop, unless I can get on for less than $30.
Goose Poop
Let me preface by saying it was Fathers Day. I expected a slow round, but thought with a 6:30 tee time, it wouldn't be that bad. I was wrong unfortunately. By 6:30, they were already 20 minutes behind. Didn't tee of till almost 7. Made the turn at 9:45, almost 3 hours for 9 holes. That did it for me. I did not play the back 9. There was a LOT of Goose Poop, fairways and greens. And of course the bunkers were horrible, but that's pretty normal for most average courses.
Fun course
Had my doubts after reading some reviews. Course is in decent shape it’s not a Troon course but it’s not as Bad as some would make you think. Bunkers aren’t good but you can play from them. Everything else is in good shape .Would play again.
Never Again
Staff was in a rush for us to tee off. Not the way golf should be played. Waited at each tee box for 10-15 min. Never again. Get what you pay for and I won’t be paying again.
I would play again
Had some pretty challenging holes
Plenty of sand traps and water
Beautiful Course on a perfect day
Got a great rate. Course was in great shape. We played as a twosome and the starter let us out a little early to get in front of a group of 8. Pace of play was perfect. Just an all around great experience with nothing to complain about.
The course can be difficult but it is enjoyable to play. The sand is terrible and around the greens there is a lot of hard pack. Make my chipping game worthless.
Good value pace and atmosphere
Played noon tee time quiet afternoon hence pace was vg.liked the layout nice neighborhood sand traps could sure use some work many were actually lacking sand .greens were in good shape will play again
Slow Play
The course was good.
The day was perfect.
The pace of play was so slow it took
4 hours to get to 14. We had to leave or
it would have been at least a 6 hour round!!
Slowest round ever
5 hour round. 30 minutes late getting us off. Every tee box had 3 groups waiting to tee off. Will never play here again.
