Beautiful course, attentive and professional staff just expensive!!!

Given the extended summer weather, I was very impressed with the condition of the course. I really enjoyed the layout of the course. Several holes provide high-risk/high-reward options. The service was great; the staff makes you feel as if you are a member at a country club. The course is an extremely good value, especially when you factor in driving range and cart are included in the greens fees. On course water coolers as well as a very frequently seen beverage cart ensure that you will stay hydrated. A very good experience! 👍

I’m no pro, but I have played golf for 25 years and I know when we’re impacting others with slow pace of play, this was not one of those times. We had a threesome in front of our foursome, so naturally they played at a faster pace. It was a hot day and we certainly weren’t spending time looking for balls that didn’t land in the fairway. We’d give a quick Look and drop, we were enjoying the course and having fun. I was rather surprised when we were asked to pick up our pace of play. So, we rushed through the next 2 holes and decided it was no longer fun. We picked up on number 5 and headed in. We payed $390.00 to play this course and saw 5 holes. I asked about a refund policy and was told the club pro would have to call me. It’s been 2 days and no call. I’ll not be back and I hope to get my money back by encouraging you, the reader of this review, to avoid giving this club your hard earned money. Go to Verrado instead. Much nicer folks who take the time to appreciate your patronage.

As always, I enjoyed playing this course. The course conditions were excellent. There were a couple of greens that had minor issues, but overall, they ran true but were not super fast.

It's a Troon Course, so it's well maintained.

I've played Estrella a half dozen times and have enjoyed each round.

Course was in great shape for this time of year. Greens rolled true with only a couple of areas near the edges that will need to be reseeded or sodded at some point. Hole 9 had a couple bunkers under construction. Fairways were in great shape as were the tees. Definitely worth the trip to the far southwest valley.
