Golf Club of Estrella

I had a great experience at Estrella, would definitely play there again! My only criticism is the pace of play was almost 5 hours, and when the ranger came thru on the back nine, he said we were right on pace… that means its typically a 5 hour round.

Pace of play was extremely slow. Course more concerned with playing time versus keeping up with the group ahead of you. Lots of areas around the green with no grass.

One of my favorite courses in the West Valley. As a Troon course, the overall conditions were good, the greens fast and the staff friendly.

I look forward to playing there again

Played this course May 23, 2024, which is the “off season”, it cost $50 for a 1:35 tee time, the course was in near perfect shape, the staff were great, and played with a local who couldn’t have been nicer. Can’t say enough great things about the greens, they were beautiful , rolled well, consistent and fairly fast. Will definitely be back!

This course requires smart golf. Tee shots are crucial to going for the greens, which were hard and fast.

I very much enjoyed playing the Golf Club of Estrella. Golf course was in great condition and is a great value if you are OK to drive a bit outside of the Phoenix area. Staff was also very friendly. I would definitely come back here again so definitely recommend!

Had a great round at the golf club of Estrella staff was great course was in good shape a little wet in spots but just loved the course will definitely play again soon

Well maintained except for burnt areas around some greens and stones in bunkers which end up on greens

The course layout is great. Friendly helpful staff. A lot of fun to play.

Fairways not as good condition as usual. Bunkers were very crusty. Overall I fell I paid too much

Good course but what’s with the bunkers? Hard pan and lots of pebbles. Became problematic on some of the greens as it was strewn about. Likely some of the worst in Scottsdale.
