Great course layout!!! Not a pitch & putt course as it has some holes that’ll eat your lunch!!! Even though the greens still had some sand on them from aeriating they rolled good. Hadn’t played the course in about 2 plus years but it is a great one to play.

Greens had some sand on them, but ball rolled well. Have to adjust for speed. Fairways soft due to aeration, but well maintained. Definitely a good course for the money. Will be back soon

Course was great, staff were friendly. Only complaints would be the lack of shade, no ice, and no beer cart.

very challenging course even for an intermediate player. Alot of desert brush on the fairways. But overall, I really enjoyed playing on this course.

I've played several courses across the Phx metro and TPC Scottsdale withstanding, this is the best course hands down.. To be July in west valley and the course is that green???

Easy track if you take the ego out and play tees that FIT your handicap. Otherwise, bring a few boxes of balls and a snake stick.

I love the layout of this course. The heat has taken its toll on some areas. Greens are still good. Fairways in most places are OK.

I think it is a really good value for this time of year.

Ive played this course twice now this summer. I really enjoy it, and I think it's a great value. Super friendly staff, (shout out to Steve the starting ranger with the great tips!), nice carts with good tech, challenging layout, range balls included for getting warmed up. It is a bit dry and the bunkers can be a bit hard, but it is 100+ degrees out... Me and a partner got through 18 in just over 3 hours on a Friday. Two weeks ago on a Saturday it took closer to 4 hours. Would love to see a mister station for cooling off on the course during the summer.

Already late summer conditions. Usually Troon properties are in good condition duration through mid-July. Did find out this property was sold by Troon so they have new owners and that may be the issue. The group we played with said the course was in great shape just last month so it went down hill fast. The fringe around all the greens were punched and too much sand was laid on top so there were small rocks all over the greens. Glad we only paid $30 per person instead of the $59 they were asking for the tee time right before our tee time. Bunkers were I terrible shape also. Huge rocks throughout the bunkers.

Most fairways at Golf Club if Estrella were in distress. I have been playing this course since 2007, and have probably played it over 80 times.

This is the worst shape that the fairways have ever been in. Most of the fairways are more dirt than grass.

I do not recommend that anyone play this course.

Something horribly has done wrong with the turf in a normally excellent course. We experienced significant areas of dead or no grass in almost every fairway. Many areas around the greens were likewise baked mud. Intervention is needed to get this course back on track!
