Wigwam Resort - Red Course
About
The Red Course (formerly known as Heritage Course) at the Wigwam Resort, which has received acclaim from Golf Magazine, is one of three 18-hole courses at the resort. Built on rolling terrain, the course features elevation changes that can affect shots. Mature trees are also scattered throughout to add beauty and another challenging element. Winding creeks form water hazards that come into play on a few holes. The Red Course is popular among locals familiar with the Wigwam Resort because it is considered to have the three best finishing holes in the area. Although walking is allowed on the other two courses, carts are required on the Red Course.

What virus?
The staff at the WigWam have a great handle on this virus madness. Check in was easy with the prepaid tee time, each of us took our own cart, this impacted the socializing a little but sped up the pace of play greatly. The course is in great shape, thick rough due to recent rains firm fairways and greens! My group and I are playing again on Saturday.
Fun Dya
We had a great time. We played in afternoon and pace was really good. Course was in great shape, a little slow due to the recent rains but overall a great experience.
Golf course in fantastic shape, great staff!
This course is in immaculate shape. We played two of the three courses, and they were both fun layouts to play. It was a nice change to play a more traditional golf course vs the desert style courses in the area we played. The employees service levels were fantastic! We played one round with a member who was a fantastic ambassador for the club. Pace of play was wonderful!
A definite must play when we come back next winter!
Great shape
I was hitting it straight. So I enjoyed myself. Lol. Great course. Good shape. Friendly staff. Will play again.
Wigwam Gold Course
Great course, very friendly and helpful staff. 10/10 would recommend and will be back!
Old School
The Course was in great condition and had a lot to offer. It’s great to see these old courses that you can walk if you want to. I really enjoyed playing this track because it brought me back to the good days of solid functionality and basic golf. Maybe a little redundant but that’s okay because you still have to execute golf shot.’s. Do yourself a favor and play it you won’t be disappointed..
boring
The only hole that was memorable was the 18th the rest are similar Boring, flat, No elevation changes, go to the next hole and the same thing, bunkers are raked but 1/2""or less down sold clay. greens and fairways conditions are OK. for the price I would expect more. We will not be back, We have played all three courses, but they are all boring.
Great value
The Wigwam Red course remains one of my favorite mid-priced golf courses in the valley. While not as difficult as the neighboring Gold course it has tricky greens and is a fun layout to play, and a good challenge from the tips. The pace of play was right at 4 hours, very good for a Sunday morning. The course was in good shape and the greens were fast. Very much worth the 45 minute drive from the East Valley.
The course was well maintained!
Good course, great service, and played in under 4 hours.
Wigwam Red Course
Golfed Red Course today and thoroughly enjoyed the layout and pace of play.. Friendly staff. We will be back.
We keep coming back!
We played the Red course again as this is one of our favourites in the valley. Lush grass everywhere, Well manicured, perfect greens, beautiful scenery with the large trees lining the fairways. Just can’t get any better! The Wigwam provides excellent practice facilities included in the green fees which is something one can take advantage of, especially after being away from golf for a couple of months, As a twosome we were able to play this course in three and a half hours as the threesome ahead of us were so courteous and let us play through. The staff were very friendly and we totally enjoyed our round.
