Longbow Golf Club

We love to play this course everytime we visit AZ. But this time we were extremely disappointed. I understand the course will be shutting down on Oct 10 for overseeding, but they have already begun the process. Tee boxes were rock hard, fairways were thin & dead, bunkers was like going to the beach and sinking (way too much sand in bunkers) & greens were fair. On the 18th hole (actual 9th hole because they had us start on 10) there were 4 large lawn maintenance machines cutting & blowing grass & dirt and would not get of the fairway. At one point you felt like they were following the golfers. The course was so dusty because of the maintenance going on, we had to wipe down the cart seat, steering wheel & cup holders. Something that should have been done prior to us taking the cart out. Needless to say, everything again was so dusty after the round. The best part of the round was meeting the 3 guys we were paired with.

I like the course layout and challenges. The course was going into overseed so scalped. Look forward to playing it in season.

Rough scalped and the course very dry in preparation for the overseed. Hard and fast, lot of roll, which made for a few more in the waste areas. Greens were fast with a bit of grain. Expect long downhill roll-out.

Enjoyed a pleasant round just as they were scalping the fairways. Tee boxes were in fair shape, fairways (where they had not yet been cut, without excess grass clippings about) were good, green-side bunkers were full (though many had not been raked for awhile), and greens were in good shape, rolling true and were fairly fast. Pace was good (until the last three holes), as was value. Not knowing LBGC’s overseeding schedule, I would highly suggest calling them regarding playing conditions BEFORE you book your next round there.

Good layout……good condition……pace of play was 4 hours. For this time of year in AZ - very fair value.

This usually does not bother me but there were so many planes flying over 90% of the course it was very distracting

Really enjoyed the layout. The course was in excellent shape. Enjoyed breakfast and lunch at the grill. Overall a wonderful experience

One of my favorite vacation courses in AZ, I look

forward to coming back every year. It has everything you'd want with length, precision and undulating greens all having to be considered. Great conditions for early Sept and the staff is always helpful. Keep up the good work!

great course, warm conditions, had to wait as the crowds. the greens were very slow, kinda hard to judge being so slow.

I’m from houston and this was extremely hot for me. Sun takes it right out of you. Bought too many balls and they would not let me return the unused balls, no big deal but why not? Course was pretty nice. I suck at golf so I can not really speak to the difficulty as all courses are hard to me. Staff was all friendly and professional. Would go back if I’m back in Phoenix

This course is in very good condition ; from the fairways to the greens it was a pleasure to play . We will be back .

Course was in good condition. Greens were great. Green complexes were enjoyable and challenging. Sand was very fluffy and plenty of room off the tee. If you haven't played, this is a great course. Would play again tomorrow!
