Longbow Golf Club
About
The Longbow Golf Club offers 18 holes of par-71 golf that measures 7,050 yards from the Black tees.
A round of golf at the Longbow Golf Club kicks off on the par-4 first hole, which measures 451 yards from the tips. The back nine kicks off on the monstrous 10th hole, a par 5 that comes in at 626 yards from the tips. The round of golf ends up a bit easier, with only 474 yards separating the tips tee from the hole, a distance that the golf club recommends golfers clear in four strokes.
Longbow Golf Club offers SoloRider golf carts, allowing golfers with disabilities the chance to get around the golf course, as the carts are able to drive right on the greens without causing any damage.

Greens in good shape
Overall the course is in good shape for summer in Phoenix. There are some dry and thin spots but that is to be expected. The greens were in great shape. We played at 10 by the time we got to the driving range it was pretty much bare dirt.
First time course
Good course and layout. Only fault I could find was no divot mix for carts but staff said the address these issues. Fun round, great course
Longbow
Course was in pretty good shape for summertime in Arizona. Fairway was a little firm and greens were fast however the greens were able to hold the approach shot.
Bunkers were great and had real soft sand in them
Awesome course!!! I really like the GPS system especially the green layout on screen definitely play here again and again!!
Amazing Course
Beautiful course, very well taken care of. The greens were lightning fast but played true. I love the gps and course guide screen in the golf carts, it even shows the green breaks!
Great Hot June Golf day at Longbow
Great golf track, really enjoyed this round and greens were fast in great shape
Overall a great time!
Our group played at Longbow recently and had a wonderful time. The course was in great shape as it was in 100’s that day. We used the golf Now app to reserve three spots to play. One of our group added a fourth after the reservation. So we showed up with four players that day but only reserved three spots for a morning tee off. Upon checking in the staff behind the counter informed us that a fourth had been already added to our threesome. Thru the Golf Now app. He told us that we couldn’t move that player to another group that was behind us. So we were at a stand still. I asked him “do you want to cancel three players @ $53.00 person just for one golfer who registered as a single?” After 15 mins of deliberation, the staff called another staff to try to resolve the issue. The other staff effortlessly just asked the single player if he didn’t mind teeing up with the twosome behind us, which he graciously accepted. The hold up over this caused us to tee off 15 mins late of our 6:50 am tee time. The twosome didn’t mind adding the single golfer. The whole situation could of been handled better and less stubbornly by the golf shop staff. In my experience people who sign up as a single golfer, don’t mind playing with strangers…they don’t mind joining other groups who have reserved the time slot otherwise they would not add themselves to threesomes that have booked it. The guy was hassling us saying he couldn’t do anything about it. Then a staff who thought “outside the box” came up with the solution.
Descent Course. Very Long.
The fairways were scalped but it’s to be expected in June. Course layout looked cool. Definitely play the appropriate tees to your handicap. It’s a very long course; first hole is like 620+ yds.
Warm and Accommodating
This is a great track. It was hot (106) but this course does a great job keeping water and ice available. They have restrooms all over as well, not something I feel we see enough here in AZ.
Dry and dusty
Are they reseeding? Cause the fairways have been dried out and mowed very close followed by big vacuum machines. Greens are fine.
Hard Conditions
Majority of fairways and around the greens hard as a rock. Would like to play this course in good conditions. Not worth $60 plus this time of year. Many other less expensive courses in better shape. Maybe alert players about course conditions before they purchase. Booked $40 per person but was charged $57 plus fees and taxes.
Summer Conditions are Here
Course had recently been clipped short to allow the Bermuda grass to make its claim for the summer. Conditions were very dry. Both variables made striking the ball from the fairway more of a challenge. Green-side bunkers had workable sand, whereas the fairway traps were hard packed. Greens had been sanded but ran at a 10. Tee boxes, for the most part, were in good shape. Our foursome completed the round in a comfortable 3:50. A bounty of water bottles could be found at every third tee. Just wished range balls were included, like at other Troon-managed courses.
Great course
We love the golf course. The only thing we find a bit frustrating is the bunkers early in the morning. Many people are not raking them
Longbow
This course is in need of water and badly it was extremely dry and hard. If it got the needed water it could be incredible but not likely to happen as it’s the summer months and does not get the water it needs probably to much money. The one bright item was there was more than enough water to drink to keep you hydrated in the heat.
