played in late April, ground is firm which is OK on fairways, but had a tough time getting ball to check up on greens...which is touchy since many of the greens are guarded by sand traps that you have to carry. Would play a little easier under softer conditions.

But it was a great challenge, loved the course...would definitely play it again.

Weather for an afternoon nine holes and was delighted by every aspect of this course. The property is immaculately maintained and I got great value.

In that weird time of year where courses have stopped caring about course conditions for us locals but still have the snowbird prices.

Tee boxes fine, fairways are starting to burn out and some pretty tight lies, greens were actually pretty good but really fast (difficult).

Biggest complaint were the bunkers, specifically the sand. Typically you find no sand in bunkers in the Phoenix area, but these were filled with A LOT of beach sand. I don’t know what kind of sand is appropriate for bunkers but this wasn’t it. Maybe this was cheaper or something, but I’ve never seen that kind of sand used before. Had a ball that wasn’t just plugged, but completely buried.

I’ll wait until the temps come up and the prices come down before playing again.

This course is in great shape. Very challenging course. staff is friendly, golf range in great shape, GPS in golf carts, tee boxes are in great shape. Greens are in pretty good shape. Very fast so I recommend hit in front of pin unless you have that wicked back spin. This course will require your driver to come out often. Only hindrance I have was the constant planes flying over due to the airport nearby but besides that. I would definitely recommend this course.

consistently very nice course. Challenging yet not "tricked up". Staffed well, nice practice area.

greens were running at 12 which was nice. What wasn't as nice was trying to hold the greens on approach shots. Even spinning 58 degree wedges from 100 yds were bouncing long on some greens. With gusting winds it proved a fun challenge.

The course is beautiful. I enjoyed every hole. There were a couple holes that seemed like the same layout, but overall challenging. FAST greens. Hard to hold a ball on the green with approach shot. Best to shoot short of the pin.

13 handicap, course was in good shape, greens based on playing partners were slower than normal, but still challenging. Helped to play with others that could provide some tips. Played early. Saw cart girl once on front and twice on back. Ranger made regular rounds checking up on pace of play. 4 hr round at a 7:20 tee time. No houses was a plus decent views. Small aircraft from nearby airport was fairly constant but not a big distraction. Overall a good experience, would play again if back in the area.

Enjoyed the course even though it was a crappy weather day. The layout is good and well bunkerd. Found it tough to to know where to aim for teeing off with lots of bunkers and waste land bunkers in play on every tee shot. Greens were good but sparse and dry. Just need rain. Greenside bunkers had good sand but wasteland bunkers were hard and not club freindly. If you value youre clubs take a drop, lots of rocks. The tee off boxes were not great, not always flat and boxes needed to be moved to different local , lots of divots. And one thing I will always remember this course for is the 100's of broken tees on every tee box. Dont need to look hard to find a 1/2 tee on a par 3. They need to pick these up once in a while as it looks bad. All in all not a bad course just needs better maintenance.

Fun course in excellent shape. Greens are fast and smooth. No houses on the course and lots of wildlife. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Had a great Saturday afternoon round, great pace of play despite a college tournament happening earlier in the day. Phenomenal conditions, great layout, very tough course but still a lot of fun. Highly recommend
