Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia

Well. I have to say this is one of my favorite courses to play and have played here about 50+ times. Played a few months ago and wasn’t in good shape. Read some of the recent reviews and was a little nervous today. Boy. Whatever they did to correct the issues was spot on. Greens were a little slower than usual for this place but were in great shape and roll true. There are a 2 or 3 holes where they have small trouble spots in the fairway but I have to say, this course is in great condition. It’s almost July and this place is in winter conditions!!! So pleased they got it back in shape. One of my favorites in the valley for sure. Always a great value. Don’t hesitate to book. Best conditions I’ve seen in a while. I’m a single digit handicap and play every week. Take my word for it. Course is in great shape. Hope it stays that way for the rest of the summer. Great job maintenance crew!!!

This course is in amazing shape and well maintained. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are very well maintained. Everything was very green and kept up. A challenging course with a lot of sand traps strategically placed. I'll definitely be back.

Fun course but the pace of play is very slow and the greens are super long and slow.

What happened to the course? This is now the 2nd time in as many years they have lost the grass. How has the superintendent not been fired. Course is in garbage condition. What a waste of a good layout. What’s worse is that they continue to charge full price. You couldn’t pay me to play this dump right now .

This course has always been my go to as it relates condition, services, and overall experience. Always a tad pricey, but worth it. NOT ANY MORE!!!! Something happen to the course ..... many bare spots on the all greens and fairways are in serious trouble. We should receive a refund. I would stay away until there is a significant improvement. UGH

I’ve always heard good things about this place, but wow what an awful experience. Service was fine, but the golf course conditions were horrendous. For a 60 dollar round I’d highly recommend looking elsewhere.

The course is in the worse shape I have ever seen it. The fairways under repair the greens were horrible. The pro told us there were a few holes that they were working on but it was ridiculous. Dont waste your time or money until they get it back in shape. It's a shame I hadnt played it in a couple of years and was shocked what poor condition it was in.

It would seem like they would adjust the price given the condition of the course. Greens are messed up and aprons are even worse. Temporary green on one hole. Some fairways have been damaged.

I understand that things happen and apparentley the heat surprised the...in AZ. But...the price is way out of alignment with other courses that are in much better shape.

Absolutley horrible shape. Played thos course many time. Has progressively declined since last summer 2019.

Would be better if the painted a circle on the fairways for greens. We took an auto 2 put for every green.. this used to be a really nice track. Not so much anymore. Staff is ok. Needs major management change for sure.

Dissapointed!!

An excellent design that has been absolutely trashed by poor management. Blue Star Golf advertises themselves as a boutique management firm, hmmmm, certainly not evident at this golf course. The course has been in horrendous condition since over seed and will not get much better in the next couple of months. There are many other better alternatives in the valley for your money. Check back in September, hopefully it will be playable by then.

Booked this course with the Trilogy name as it's backing...I was sorely disappointed in the conditions of the course! The fairways were terrible...grass was sparse and the rest of the fairway was mostly dirt and sand. The greens were as bad as the fairways. There was very little grass and what grass they had was long and bumpy...putting was reduced to auto 2 putt. The tee boxes were good...had some grass on them which allowed for a good teeing experience. Overall it was a wasted day of golf, when I actually thought it was going to be a great experience...such a letdown. My wife and I were hoping to get to play a really good course with lots of great views and golf shot making possibilities...not to be! We have crossed this course off out list of places where we might want to come back and play. The end of the round was about as bad as the course...we were ready to tip the Player Service guys, even with the bad experience we had, but they were on the range hitting balls...so we just grabbed our bags and left. Such was the end to a very depressing day of golf!

Played a lot of great courses in the valley in the 24 years I have lived here and today I played the worst course I have ever played. Played this course before a few years ago and while I knew the customer service was always questionable at least the course was playable. No help at all from the outside bag folks, not with the bags, getting range balls, getting the scorecard, or anything.....so why are they even there? No water on the course and no water supplied by the golf shop unless you paid for it.....who does that in Arizona when it is as hot as it is? Now for the course.....the greens might as well have been sand greens as they were just a mess. Tee boxes were so-so and fairways were not in good shape. I will never be back even if they make it a free course to play.

Shortage of carts. Everyone teeing off had to wait for carts coming off 18. As the other reviews indicated, this course is in pathetic shape for a Trilogy course. What part of the greens that aren’t mud we’re not mowed. Fairways were largely mud. Two greens were being watered during midday. It would seem this golf course is in financial ruin.

Initially thought it might be decent

The staff was polite and the course wasn’t really hard but the BAD really ruined the whole experience

Golf course is in terrible condition. Fairways greens all are in very poor condition. Bare spots course is super wet with mud areas in front and around most greens. The greens are spotty with dirt exposed areas and bumpy super slow greens. I was very disappointed with the overall condition and would not have booked a tee time there if I had known!

$50 is an over charge for a course in this kind of condition

I always look forward to playing this course as the layout is challenging, customer service is outstanding, and the condition is usually off the charts. That said, I was highly disappointed as the course was in extremely bad shape....that's an understatement. Each green had several bare areas; where there was grass the cut was uneven and left to grow too long for golf greens. Many of the fairways had dry areas that were either dirt or sand. The only good thing about the course were the tee boxes and outside services customer service. Management should feel guilty for charging to play this course. It appears the course has been neglected for several weeks. Shame!!!!!

This course is close to my house and have played it many times. The course is in horrible shape right now. Almost all of the greens have significant areas with dead grass and dirt. Played this course for many years and have never seen it like this.
