About
Now you can play in Peoria. Book a round at Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia, which Golf Digest magazine gave five stars out of five, an honor only a couple dozen North American golf courses share - no other in Arizona. Pay any price to play at least once in your life."
Gary Panks designed Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia to enhance the existing environment, and to make the course dramatic and playable. It's a round that should be on the list for a golf trip to Arizona. The par-72 course measures 7,291 yards from the Tournament tees.
After a round at Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia head to the Verde Grill for foods both familiar and inventive.

Fix the greens
I think this golf course has a beautiful layout, and exception views. I will say though for a high dollar course, the greens are absolutely horrible. Most spots seem as if they are just painted on and it was extremely rough and bumpy. I have played this course twice now this year and they have only gotten worse. I know they are working on fixing the greens, but you should not advertise that this is the pristine course in all of the West Valley, and charge top dollar but have greens that appear as if they are painted on over rocks. I have never posted a review on here before, but thought this needed to be shared.
A hidden gem
Great golf course, fun to play with some very challenging holes from advanced to beginners! Absolutely loved it!
All Good Except.....Greens!!
Gorgeous course and with a lot of challenges for all. Clubhouse & pro shop is very nice. Staff is awesome and helpful. Course condition is exceptional from tees up to greens. The greens are in very poor condition for a. Purse of this caliber. I understand that there are reasons for the condition of the greens, however, I feel that there should have been a notice provided in advance. Otherwise, a great experience.
Yuck
I have played this course three times now. I generally try to give every course that I don’t like the first time a second chance. I have given Trilogy TWO second chances and I was miserably let down. I have played in September, November and now March. The course is known for it’s abysmal pace of play but when it’s cart path only, it only furthers the frustration in waiting. Took my group 5 hours and 20 minutes to play. The fairways and tee boxes were great which is the only good thing I can say. The greens were not green at all. Brown and not true whatsoever. The practice green was just as horrid. Our cart started dying after the 12th hole and we had to push it with what little juice it had left. Not worth the rate they charge. Ever. I have played many local courses for $40 in the past two weeks that are in much better shape and provide a much better experience than Trilogy. Sorry, but I will not be returning.
The course has nice layout.
The course has a nice layout. The greens were terrible. Late over seed and an early freeze really damaged the greens.
Handicap player
Greens were just sanded but even with that it was in great shape. Nice place
Not worth the green fees.
Was not worth the $100 green fee. Greens were sandy and bunkers hard. Pace of play was good. Course condition not so much.
This course has lots of sand traps
The course was in excellent condition and greens putted true. The sand in the bunkers was kind of course and hard at time but good experience overall.
Needs attention
Course needs attention to detail, the greens were not good. They had sport growth with green sand mixture all over so they hopped instead of rolling. The bunkers were rock hard and hadn’t been tilled in a very long time, your club bounced into the ball.
Save your money
Greens were awful. The greens were punched in prime season. Covered in fertilizer and painted to look green. Impossible to put on the greens. Threesome in front of us were very slow. Our foursome had to wait on every hole. Never saw a ranger.
Bad Greens
Don’t know what happened to them but they’re very little grass in them and they look like they’re painted?
Tc at Trilogy
Very nice course, only downside overseeding on greens was apparently unsuccessful making them super slick/a bit unnatural... Would be 5 star if not for that
Too many brown spots
This is not the first time that I have played Vistancia, but it is the first time that I see the course bad shape, especially at this time of the year. The price paid for the afternoon tee time was ok, but if I did pay more to play in the morning I will not be happy. There are many brown spots along the course. Greens are not well maintained, being painted in many places and not having good roll. Ball jumps constantly making difficult to figure out how to put. Tee times were delayed due morning frost delay (almost an hour) but nobody was informing players when their time to play was next. Maybe they are getting use to have loyal members players knowing they are going to play no matter what, and don’t care about the rest.
Hit and miss
The back shop group were helpful and friendly. Restaurant was good. However, we had an issue with our cart and could not contact anyone in the golf area to get assistance. The in cart program did not get a response, there is no phone number to call and eventually we contacted the restaurant to ask for assistance. There were no direct lines to call for help - what would we have done if this was a medical emergency? Also, they charge a gratuity fee but we were not told this would be an additional expense and we do not know what it covered. They need some work on their customer service and problem management skills.
Challenging layout
I’ve played this course about a dozen times and this is the worst I’ve seen it. Fairways were nice but greens were in really rough shape. Sandy and really bumpy. Some almost unputtable. It’s too bad, this course was one of my favorites. I’m sure they’ll bring it back but this was not a good experience.
Trilogy
the fairways are lush with quick greens.Great tee boxes. Outstanding
