Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia
About
Now you can play in Peoria. Book a round at Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia, which Golf Digest magazine gave five stars out of five, an honor only a couple dozen North American golf courses share - no other in Arizona. Courses with the distinction include Bethpage Black, Pebble Beach, Bandon Dunes, TPC Sawgrass and Spyglass Hill. Five stars mean, according to the magazine, "Superb. Golf at its absolute best. Pay any price to play at least once in your life."
Gary Panks designed Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia to enhance the existing environment, and to make the course dramatic and playable. It's a round that should be on the list for a golf trip to Arizona. The par-72 course measures 7,291 yards from the Tournament tees.
After a round at Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia head to the Verde Grill for foods both familiar and inventive.

Overpriced for course experience
Tee boxes were not mowed and grass was too long. Greens were sprayed with a green crust like application that made the greens bumpy and hard. Putts rolled offline from bumps on the crusty green. Not enough range balls provided to warm up properly (25), Great layout and wonderful staff. For $70, I'd play elsewhere. This course was much much better 3-5 years ago. What happened??
Great layout
This is an interesting course, very fair test of golf. Excellent condition. Staff very friendly. Played with residents who were great. Definitely will come back.
Painted Sand for greens
They obviously had some serious issues with their greens because they were extremely thin, in fact they were painted sand. Thats a trick I have seen before, it looks better than dead greens but leaves a lot to be desired in terms of playability. Fees should have commensurate with conditions and they wete NOT. Poor value for money...
Love this course
Play here a number of times every year when I come down from up north- great layout, friendly people and great restaurant with a fantastic drink selection, looking forward to my next round here.
Full Price?
Had the opportunity to play a round recently and was very satisfied. Now before I start, the reason this was not a five star rating. Their greens were under repair. Now, when you pay for a full price, they should have the course ready. If they can not accommodate what you paid full price for, then they should give you a discount, or come back on them. Also, just a suggestion.
When you are repairing the green, maybe it's a good idea to repair the greens in front of the bunkers first. This will allow anyone who is hitting out of the bunkers a chance to have a fair shot.
Now,
Other then the green repair issue, the course was in great shape. Everyone was courteous and helpful. We have a good time, and would like to come back again.
Nice enough layout
Paid 50$ for an afternoon round. Fair for the condition of the course. Fairways/Tee boxes are in good condition. The greens are in rough shape. No grass on most of them. Literally putting on sand. The layout is interesting enough to grab your attention. 17 and 18 are a nice way to end the round. The facility is nice.
Gress as t golf
Challenging course that’s in great shape. Friendly staff. Worth coming back to.
Unprofessional and rude
I went to the range to hit balls and put my bag next to a basket of balls that was left on the range. There were probably 15 balls in the basket. I was going to hit them and then go to the pro shop and buy a full basket. I have hit balls at the range for several months. One of the attendants swoops up behind me a cart, stops about 8 feet from me, gets outs, starts putting the balls in the basket. I asked him what he was doing and he said that I had to pay for the balls. I said no I didn't as golfers leave balls on the range all the time. I told him I was going to hit the balls and then go to the range to buy a basket. I drove for 25 minutes to get to the golf course. Golfers all the time hit balls that are on the range. He proceeded to collect them mumbling something about something 'new' at the golf course. I went to the pro shop and spoke to both the assistant pro and head pro who defended the attendant's action. It was so petty and juvenile. I have been golfing for over 50 years and have never been treated like that. I just left. I will never go back.
Poor greens
Very disappointed in the overall condition of the fairways an greens
Very shaggy and the greens not only shaggy but variable speeds and very bumpy
Course layout was nice and a challenge to play away from the hazards
Disappointed
We have played Vistancia various times, but we were definitely disappointed this time. The greens were thin and sandy, and the fairways patchy (likely due to late over seeding).
The beverage staff were friendly but the two pros in the shop need some customer service training, in my opinion.
This course should be better than today’s experience
Very disappointed
Course layout was good. And very playable but the greens were unputtable
Very bumpy and very shaggy
Not at all the shape they should be for mid November
November Trilogy
Challenging course. Had lots of deep sand traps especially around greens. Played when cart path only due to over seeding which made it more difficult. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Not sure I would play again.
Reseeding danger
During reseeding the course should shut down.Greens are very unfair,Cary path only is very differcult, especially for seniors. Many cart paths are a football field away from area that you would place your tee shots.especially on dog legs.Maybe greens fees should be cut in half during reseeding.Sand traps were also hardWont ever play again till cart path only ruling,is changed to either 90 degree rule,or till reseeding time is over.
thoroughly enjoyed our round just prior to course overseeding
We really enjoyed our round... the course was in excellent shape considering that it's being overseeded starting Monday. Greens were in great shape.. quite fast, but rolled true.... Tee boxes and fairways were in great shape. We finished in just under 4 hrs.!!
Very challenging course
Pin settings were very tough and greens quite slick although it was just before overseeding started. All in all a great value. We would play again in a heartbeat.
Trilogy Golf Course
Great day of golf, at Trilogy Golf Club, nice fare ways and fast greens with a touch of challenge
Great Staff and Fun Round
We always have a great time playing this course. Conditions are consistently good and the staff can't be beat. This is a must play course on the west side of town. One of the best overall experiences we've found.
