Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Links Course
About
The Links at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is the "younger" of two golf courses on the Biltmore property, and offers intelligence and innovation, with little room for impatience, on a much-feted design that fast gained reverence from both local and visiting golfers. The golf course features fairways that wind amidst lush pine trees and some of Phoenix's showier houses, greens so bunkered that precision is the minimum to shoot for, and contoured greens that roll as they come. Put the ball where it belongs, and it'll show up on the scorecard; put the ball where it doesn't, and that will show up, too.
After your round on the Links at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club, head in for one of several dining options, from Southwestern to French to Asian to fusion dishes, as well as snacks and high tea post-tee.

Not worth the money
It’s a shame that such a beautiful part of Phoenix surrounded by beautiful homes has a golf course that is so poorly maintained. The greens were dried out and patches of discoloration the tea boxes or in terrible shape. There’s so much more they can do with this course. They spend almost $200 around is unacceptable to have it being in the condition it was in.
For the money this course was way overpriced.
The course was in horrible condition. The bunkers were pathetic. No sand just rocks and dirt. Greens were patchy. This course is at best an average muni course. $50 max. Sad for such a beautiful area of Phoenix. Lost opportunity
A Resort Course
A friendly, well-maintained course that contains a few very good holes and a lot of plain vanilla ones. Dollar for dollar I would not put it on a par with many others at this price, but I have no regrets. Views are pretty.
Hard greens
The Links course is in pretty good condition. However, the greens, which are small to start with, were very firm, fast, and unreceptive. It is tough when you can't land on the green and hold it, so you have to land short and run it up, only to have the ball roll all the way over the green.
We paid $100 on a Hot Deal. I think this course should be around $75. We teed off at 10:32 and for some reason they had a 20 minute gap behind us. Priced a little high maybe?
Terrible conditions
Course is in terrible conditions - fairways dry and need watering, bunkers have no sand, greens had lots of damage - needs lots of maintenance
Great Link course
Small greens very fast, keep the ball straight on front 9 and you can score, back 9 tougher.
The links
The links course is in very bad shape, the greens are terrible, not worth the money.
The estate course looked far better with a far better pace of play.
We have played this course more than five times over the course of the past year. The length has never been in such bad shape. I will never play it again.
Not worth the money
Staff was friendly and helpful. Course? Many narrow fairways line with housing units so you had better hit the ball super straight. In addition some were adjacent to busy roads which added to the tension of driving the ball. Overall, a huge disappointment. Like so many other places, the bottom line drives the amenities and they suffer because people will come to play based on the heritage of the facility. This place is obviously resting on its laurels.
Not a links course
There are two tracks at the Arizona Biltmore. The estate corse and the links course. I played the links course. It is NOT a links layout as it takes you around the perimeter of the property. The estate course is laid out like a true links course, but desert style with fairways separated by sandy waste areas. Plus the conditions of the estate course from what I could see from the pro shop and the adobe restaurant (both nice set ups with good service) looked very good. The links course bunkers need rehabbing in the worst way, as in add sand, tee boxes a chewed up, in short should have been a lot nicer for $180 green fees. The estate course looks like about $50 more a round. AZ golf is a bit stupid expensive- and I mostly play in SoCal, so not just playing muni tracks (though I love them) on the cheap. Play something else- though the Biltmore history is neat
Great Course
Course was in good condition. Bunkers could use a litttle more sand. Had a freeze delay so was a little slow on front nine. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Great layout, well maintained, fast greens
Lots of greenery including lush rough. Fast greens. Every hole was different. Nice scenery. Fairly wide open but hazards were there to catch errant shots.
Range and practice facilities included free range balls, chipping and large putting green.
Pace of play was slow, most likely due to the inexperienced foursome in front. We had our tee time bumped to accommodate the last group of a tournament. Didn’t think much of it until we waited on every hole that led to a 5 hr round. Shouldn’t happen. Overall though I love this course. It’s my favourite in the area,
