About
Raven Golf Club - Phoenix features a one-of-a-kind round of desert golf. Its fairways are lined with Georgia pine, and its greens have more tiers than one - the kind of golf course that only Gary Panks and David Graham could imagine, and a can't-miss on your next golf trip to Phoenix. Over the ages, the golf club has garnered all sorts of recognition.
The layout features plush, rolling fairways framed by thousands of mature trees, as well as vistas of rugged desert mountains and the Phoenix skyline. The golf course's flexible, strategic design offers a challenge for all players, and the variety it presents will give you the opportunity to use nearly every club in your bag.
That said, the Raven Golf Club - Phoenix might be the perfect place to turn a business trip to Phoenix into a golf trip to Phoenix - it's handy to Sky Harbor Airport and downtown Phoenix.

Golfer Reviews
Great layout
1st time playing this layout, and wasn’t disappointed. Played firm and fast, and course layout was wonderful. 2 complaints…1) no one rakes the bunkers!! 2) course is closing in less than a week for overseeding… you can’t wait a few days before you shut down all the par 3 tee boxes? You’re gonna be closed for 3 weeks… a few days won’t make that much of a difference…
Enjoyed the layout
Course was in good condition, greens rolled well. The only issues were the sand traps had very little sand. Also, redoing tee boxes on Hole 1 and all 4 Par 3 holes. You have to tee off from the front tees on those holes.
Monsoon rainfall hurt bunker conditions
We overlooked the bunker conditions due to the recent heavy rainfall. We know they’ll be returning to normal sometime soon.
best summer conditions
have played alot of courses around town this summer and most are in terrible. condition , not the raven . greens and ,fairways were great . will be back . .
Always good
We Teed off at 6 am on the front 9 but they were also letting people start on the back 9 all morning as well. We finished the front in under 2 hrs and the back took almost 3 because we got stuck behind 6 groups. Frustrating to wait, specially when we get out that early but still one of my favorite courses in the valley.
value for greens fees
IF all the courses offered thru golfnow were valued as well as this course was, it would make it much easier paying the $100+ for the courses which aren't comparable to the Raven. OF course location is probably an issue as it doesn't have a Scottsdale address But for those of you looking for a nice change from back and forth , mundane layouts , this one is well worth the effort to play!
Great for summer
This course never disappoints. The fairways and tee boxes look great however just in expect the greens to be slow and bumpy right now (typical for az summer). The course is playing a bit firm and fast which was very fun for me. There are lots of interesting linksy bumps and swails on the fairway and around the greens thay make things interesting. . Staff is great, service is great. They had a cart girl on a slow weekday which was nice . Raven also always offers free range balls before your round
