The sun shines 350 days a year in Phoenix and you can enjoy this factor at Ahwatukee Country Club. "Ahwatukee" is Crow Indian for "house of dreams", but this could easily be the "golf course of dreams".
The semi-private Ahwatukee Country Club offers an 18-hole golf course designed by John Bulla in 1974 that is open year-round and includes a driving range, as well as a cart included in the greens fee. The golf course is par-72 and measures 6,713 yards from the championship tees.
The Ahwatukee Country Club golf course features a fairly wide-open layout, but has out-of-bounds areas on either side of the fairways - including some with houses, so watch out for those windows - as well as water hazards on some holes. The putting greens play fast.
After a tight front nine on the Ahwatukee Country Club golf course, things open up on a razor-sharp par-4 dogleg 10th hole, with no chance to cut corners: there's a towering forest to the left.

We played at 8 am on a perfect Saturday morning, fairways were sparse, greens had large dead patches.
$75 is way to much for these conditions.

Great Course……. That is in Shambles
The course is in horrible condition. You’d expect that it’s the middle of summer by how this course looks. The greens suck. The tee boxes suck. I had two drives in the middle of the fairway where the second shot was from flat bare dirt.
This is a great course in layout and playability. It is especially good for the not great golfer, as when you’re left or right, you’re usually still in play. But, the condition of the course is horrible.
I’d only play it again, in this condition, for a bargain basement, dirt cheap rate.

Good value
Played this course numerous times over the past few years, the greens are in as good shape as I’ve seen over the years. I play around the valley and the greens today were more receptive than many high end courses that I play. Fairways have bare spots but playable. played in 3:30. The course shows that someone is interested in improving it’s playability

Rangers are very friendly. Had to have ranger push a group in front of us that had a new golfer in their group. Once dealt with pace was good. Course is excellent value.

Sub par course
This has to be the worst course I have played on in the Phoenix valley to date. The conditions were just utterly terrible, you couldn’t tell where the fairway was because more than half the grass was dead or just hard packed dirt. The greens were patched and uneven. The range basically gives you a good visual of how bad the course is. Not to mention we spent $65 a person to play 18 holes?! I would never recommend this course to anyone. Go play Ken McDonald if you want something low quality, this place is even worse.

Please work in the fairways as we would hit in the middle of the fairway and there were often times water or sand in the middle of the fairway
