The sun shines 350 days a year in Phoenix and you can enjoy this factor at Ahwatukee Country Club. "Ahwatukee" is Crow Indian for "house of dreams", but this could easily be the "golf course of dreams".
The semi-private Ahwatukee Country Club offers an 18-hole golf course designed by John Bulla in 1974 that is open year-round and includes a driving range, as well as a cart included in the greens fee. The golf course is par-72 and measures 6,713 yards from the championship tees.
The Ahwatukee Country Club golf course features a fairly wide-open layout, but has out-of-bounds areas on either side of the fairways - including some with houses, so watch out for those windows - as well as water hazards on some holes. The putting greens play fast.
After a tight front nine on the Ahwatukee Country Club golf course, things open up on a razor-sharp par-4 dogleg 10th hole, with no chance to cut corners: there's a towering forest to the left.

Needs TLC
Overall course conditions were poor as very dried out. Whoever sets the pins doesn't know what they are doing. 6-7 were in corners of greens directly overtop of bunkers.

Terrible course
The course was in terrible shape. The greens were barely playable.
We had to wait on every hole. It took us almost 5 hours to play the round.
The course is way over priced for the course condition!!

For the price...worth it
Course is not in the best of shape but for $45 in winter in AZ you are not gonna get much better.
Pace of play: They could have done a better job of staggering the groups at the start but things ended up speeding up by the back 9.
Course conditions: You are gonna want to stay on the fairways cause the rough isn't rough, just dirt. That being said the fairways are in good shape. Some of the greens were in bad shape but they made sure the pin was somewhere playable.
Not my fav course but for the money this time of year this really isn't a bad spot to get 18 in.

This is not a women friendly course. We were constantly talked to by ranger that we were slow even though we were at pace with people ahead. They left after 10 and ranger stopped to say "13 is wide open". Thre people behind us were not really waiting and then he asked us to play different t's to "speed up play". We had 1 gentlemen with us.

Disappointment for $90
Save yourself the money, several of the greens were under repair, or so patchy and dead that they were unplayable. The rough was non existent and pretty much dirt

Not worth the $$
1st time playing this course, pace of play was great because we tee’d off at 7AM and no one was around us. Overall the course needs a lot of work, multiple greens have large patches of ground under repair and tee boxes are pretty beat up. Definitely not worth $95.

Price not worth poor conditions.
Greens are almost all sand and had two strokes to your game.

Terrible conditions
I like the layout of the course. But the conditions were terrible. Dirt patches everywhere and all over the green. If it the ball in the fairway I don’t want to be in a dirt patch. Same goes for the green. Some of the bunkers were very hard with little sand, others were decent. The staff was very kind and helpful. The course needs to be taken more care of.

Low Expectations
The course is not in good condition. Several greens were difficult to putt on because of dead spots or duck droppings. I suppose for this time of year, this course could be considered a value but be aware of the conditions. Has a driving range and staff were friendly.

Not worth the $
Terrible conditions! Greens had big patches of bare dirt or patced areas. If you're off the fairways you'll have a Terrible lie. Definitely not worth the green fee. Starter and staff were the only good parts of the round

Has Potential, but needs major work
Bad course condition, estenially only fairway and green surrounded by dirt. 5.5 hour round with a 5 some in front of us which was approved by the pro shop. $100 to play a course in worse shape than any PHX area course I’ve played this winter.
Looking into the Gold Card, I decided to see how the course was and left feeling disappointed. This course should be $50 rounds until conditions improve.

Terrible
Course conditions are awful !
The marshal is a huge pain in the neck and followed us for like 5-7 holes . Disrupted our play even though we easily stayed in touch with the group in front of us.
I wouldn’t pay 40 bucks for playing this goat track … def not close to 100 - u are out of your minds !!!!I’ll never be back

Extremely slow play and fairways are spotty. Greens are ok. Driving range is off rubber mats.
