The sun shines 350 days a year in Phoenix and you can enjoy this factor at Ahwatukee Country Club. "Ahwatukee" is Crow Indian for "house of dreams", but this could easily be the "golf course of dreams".
The semi-private Ahwatukee Country Club offers an 18-hole golf course designed by John Bulla in 1974 that is open year-round and includes a driving range, as well as a cart included in the greens fee. The golf course is par-72 and measures 6,713 yards from the championship tees.
The Ahwatukee Country Club golf course features a fairly wide-open layout, but has out-of-bounds areas on either side of the fairways - including some with houses, so watch out for those windows - as well as water hazards on some holes. The putting greens play fast.
After a tight front nine on the Ahwatukee Country Club golf course, things open up on a razor-sharp par-4 dogleg 10th hole, with no chance to cut corners: there's a towering forest to the left.

For the skill levels of me and the gentleman I played with, this course is really good. In general, the fairways and greens are in decent shape. I would say the part that was in the worst shape is the putting green by the first tee. In fact, it sucked. But it's a nice facility, the pro shop is nice and the restaurant/bar is excellent.
Poor condition
Tee box’s we’re ok. Fairways were a mess, dry bare spots everywhere. Worrst greens I’ve played on any where in the valley.

Good course to play at. I had a 6:37am tee time so pace of play was great. Course is green where it needs to be green. Course is in the middle of houses

If you’re a golfer never play here
So they let 6somes 8somes off.f. Could care less the pace of play. “It’s really busy today”. No kidding ever course in Arizona is busy now!! But they don’t let 8somes off!!! Never play this course if you want to play golf. If you want to do a party with tons of people, this is the course. Championship golf course , you’ve got to be kidding me!

good course
Course is fairly good, but could be in much better condition. Quite a few "dirt and clay" areas rather than grass or turf. good value for money, but based on condition, certainly not a championship course.

You get what you pay for
The course is in need of attention, get off the fairway and you will not find any grass. Cart paths are in rough shape, greens are bumpy and many have large repairs on them. Staff was great, fun and friendly, but the course needs attention. It is a fun layout, lots of potential but tough to play in such rough condition

Good, Fun Little Course
Great start as we got off early,! but immediately ran into.a bachelor party of 7 guys. They were nice though. Cart girl, Alexis was a cutie! I’d play this course again. Fun track. Not in the best of shape, but I’ve played worse out here.

Difficult greens
Second time I've played this course. Greens are under construction and too difficult to play.

Don”t bother playing this course, terrible condition. Worst I’ve played in years. They couldn’t pay me to play there!!

Good Course and People
We got to the course a little early and fond great and helpful staff. Although, the course was a little buy we did not have to wait very often. We would have liked to stay for dinner but found the kitchen closed and that was a little disappointing. However, that did not detract from the rest of the course and the people associated with it. All in all, a great experience and we will return.

Goat Path
This course is way overpriced for the condition of the course. Layout promotes slow play (almost 5 hours) making it even more frustrating. Golf Now should consider delisting this course from it menu because there is no value in laying this course for what you have to pay
