The sun shines 350 days a year in Phoenix and you can enjoy this factor at Ahwatukee Country Club. "Ahwatukee" is Crow Indian for "house of dreams", but this could easily be the "golf course of dreams".
The semi-private Ahwatukee Country Club offers an 18-hole golf course designed by John Bulla in 1974 that is open year-round and includes a driving range, as well as a cart included in the greens fee. The golf course is par-72 and measures 6,713 yards from the championship tees.
The Ahwatukee Country Club golf course features a fairly wide-open layout, but has out-of-bounds areas on either side of the fairways - including some with houses, so watch out for those windows - as well as water hazards on some holes. The putting greens play fast.
After a tight front nine on the Ahwatukee Country Club golf course, things open up on a razor-sharp par-4 dogleg 10th hole, with no chance to cut corners: there's a towering forest to the left.

Not worth $75
Greens were In terrible conditions, they had some odd “square cut outs” on multiple greens. We had to move our putts numerous times to avoid them. Not much green grass really anywhere on the course.
Waste of money
No carts, had to wait for 1/2 hour. Members cut in from of us with a later tee time. Course was in bad shape. Can't imagine being a member there.

Course layout is ok but in poor condition
Some tee boxes were in poor condition. Parts of most fairways had no grass. Some greens were very rough and bunkers had very little sand. The poor maintenance of the course allows less golf knowledgeable golfers to drive their carts on parts of the course that should not be driven on. This further deteriorates the course conditions.

Great Staff
Thank you. Great staff that pointed out where evening was, pace of play, and information about certain holes.
This information saved me a few balls as well as a few strokes. I felt at home.

Friendly and efficient Staff
We have played this course several times and staff are efficient and friendly consistently.
The course does needs some major maintenance. No the greenest course in AZ, and not the worse. We enjoyed the day as there were few playing probably because o predicted winds.

Poorly run
We waited for a hour after our T time they dish’s even any carts available they had 6-8 people playing together and one group only had 1 bag for 4 people. They said the ranger went home because he was frustrated. The starter/ cart guy did the best for a bad situation.

Red Headed Stepchild
The course condition is terrible. It seems the owner doesn't put much money into its upkeep. Most of the greens had raw patches in them and if you didn't land in the right spot you had to move the ball to putt on smooth grass. The sand traps are either hard, soft or there is something growing in them. There is no consistency to them. The layout of this course is really great and this could be a wonderful experience. I have been playing this course for many years and this is the worst I have seen it.

For the skill levels of me and the gentleman I played with, this course is really good. In general, the fairways and greens are in decent shape. I would say the part that was in the worst shape is the putting green by the first tee. In fact, it sucked. But it's a nice facility, the pro shop is nice and the restaurant/bar is excellent.

Poor condition
Tee box’s we’re ok. Fairways were a mess, dry bare spots everywhere. Worrst greens I’ve played on any where in the valley.
