Fun layout.
Good to see course operational again. Bunkers are in need of regular maintenance. Greens cup cutter is in dire need of sharpening. Nice mixture of Par 4's & Par 3's for Par 60 total.
Not worth it
18 holes par 60. Not worth it! Horrible condition. Green really rough and fairways like hitting off concrete.
It is what it is
Ahwatukee Lakes is a par 3 course. I was a little surprised when I pulled up to this course and didn't see a pro shop. I was met by a young man in a golf cart. I purchased a large bucket of balls and proceeded to the range. The range does have grass to hit off but it is just patches of grass. The flags / targets were bunched together. Using my range finder there were 3 targets within 104 yards. My round started a few minutes before my scheduled tee time. I was playing solo. I completed the front 9 in 64 minutes. The back 9 was a slower. I had a husband and wife and another twosome ahead of me. The husband and wife team refused to let me play through. So the back 9 took about 2.5 hours to play. But overall I played the round in 3.5 hours. Had I been allowed to play through I'm sure I could have played in under 3 hours. The tee boxes, fairways, greens and bunkers were in good shape. Not having a pro shop with bathrooms and offering beverages and food is why I gave this course only 3 stars. Hopefully there are plans to add pro shop. If so I can see playing this course on a regular basis.
Yardage markers needed
Would be so easy to take a scope out , shoot the flags and put in yardage stakes .

Course had been closed for quite sometime. New owners bringing back to life.
Bang for your buck
Course still needs a lot of work, but it’s still a course where you can have some fun and still be somewhat tested. Keep in on the green and you won’t have trouble. Miss the grass and you will have a hard time finding your ball. Great place to sharpen your skills or if you’re new to golf. 3.7/5
First time here
We are visiting friends in AZ and asked them to go along with us to this course. The price was good, and we were able to make our T Time only one day ahead. There were a lot of dry, non-grassy areas (yes, I know we are in AZ) and ALOT of sand traps to deal with, but the fairways were pretty decent. Some signage would be nice to know how to get to the first tee:). The staff members that we did talk to were nice. No beverage service or bar carts available when we played.
BANG FOR YOUR BUCK
It’s a decent course for the price! The greens are fast and fareways are well maintained. It’s a little rough outside of the fareway, but still manageable. This course has potential!!
