Just don’t
I’ll start with the positives. The price for a tee time is appealing That concludes the positives. A one star of course conditions is generous. Excluding two maybe three of the greens good luck putting because your ball wont roll it will bounce due to the crab grass growing on most of the greens. The cups had lips which deflected putts a few times throughout the day. The fairways aren’t much better, and they aren’t any different that the rough. Staff wasn’t particularly friendly or rude. Hit a bucket of balls on the range to warm up and enjoyed hitting off sand into a dirt field. Just skip this one.
pace of play
Just a suggestion...... I think that the course/ranger starter could have done a much better job controlling the pace of play by combining single golfers into pairs or groups. we had 2 single golfers in front of us and 2 single golfers behind us. Most course would have doubled up the single golfers to help speed up play. we waited on every single hole.
Greens need work
The greens need some good grass. some were weedy and rough.
Good value for the money
Nice little course with friendly staff. Pace of play was great and carts were clean. Definitely could use some attention to emptying the trash cans on course and cleaning the bathrooms, as well as a little love for the greens. But we knew what we were getting into…
This could be a really nice facility with some TLC
Ok for the price
Greens just ok. Was not expensive, so glad about that. But course conditions just ok. Front 9 better than back 9.
I'm not a great golfer...
...and this is not a great golf course...so IT's PERFECT for me. IIt's conveniently located, the staff is super friendly, and yardage is shorter for a hacker like me. There's a nice variety of holes and layouts. As I said, I'm not a great golfer, but I love Paradise Valley.
.You Get What You Pay For
Don’t waste your time or money here. Maybe the Southern California owner could invest a little for improvements. As it stands, they’re doing their best as a slum lord. Sorry, sometimes the truth is painful.
