Lookout Mountain Golf Club at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort receives distinctions: Golf Digest placed it among the top 450 U.S. public courses, and it regularly features among Arizona's best 25 golf course. It doesn't hurt that the golf club regularly hosts eye-catching affairs like the Harmon Killebrew Invitational, the Royce Clayton Charity Classic and the Phoenix Suns Scramble. The golf course itself offers lush greens that entwine with the Sonora Desert's terrain, which the golf club says it carefully preserves, and features 18 holes of championship golf in tandem with magnificent scenery and plenty of challenges.
There's a fairly good chance that golfers will catch sight of a quail or coyote out on the Lookout Mountain Golf Club at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort, and management asks that layers give the critters the right of way. In order to ensure golfers' shots go straight and don't snag in a cactus or chuckwalla, the club offers both individual and group glf lessons. This is also a place to enroll in the Hilton Golf Academy.

Great round of golf
Lookout is exactly what you would expect, great views and a fantastic layout. The course layout is exception with great diversity in all the holes. I used almost every club in my bag. It was in great condition. My only complaint would be the driving range. They use mats which I think does not give you a true assessment of how an individual is hitting their irons.

The back 9 has lots of elevation change and sloped fairways. The greens are well maintained and some have a lot of slope. It is challenging course but worth the experience.

Nice but expensive
We always like to play this course when we arrive. Arizona. But can never get a good deal. Almost twice the price of other good courses that we played in our two week visit.

Fun not your ordinary course
Staff was great, course is a lot of fun with some interesting holes at every turn. I would hit this one up next time you are in AZ.

Pretty nice course, if you can get Troon or GolfNow deal. 4 hours round only due to our own speed.

Love the course but
I had a really bad game - my own fault as I was not able to get out of the fluffy sand bunkers and not able to putt well - sigh!
