Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Estates Course
About
Some consider the Estates course (formerly known as Adobe golf course) at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club to be grand and stately, a prime example of golf course design in the pre-modern era, combining rare beauty with solid trickery. It makes for a round both relaxing and challenging played on lush 50-year-old fairways, with a spacious layout, reminding on of golf as it ought to be played: the glory days when graphite went into pencils and balls were only white.
The Adobe golf course at the Arizona Golf Club measures 6,430 yards from the white tees and comes in at par-71.
Due to the mild Arizona winters, the Adobe Golf Course at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is open year-round.

Best Bang for the Buck
Best value in Phoenix. Legendary course that nearly every president in the last 75 years has played. Amazing history and layout. Don't let the 6400 yards fool you with the wide open layout. It's still challenging yet you can score. It's a must play.
A dog track in the dog days of summer
When you're calling yourself a country club, you should probably spend some time actually making sure the course is a reflection of that title. Even during an Arizona summer. This place has the audacity to charge over $40 to play when the greens are punched and sanded. On top of that, the grass was overly brown in many places, the bunkers were mud pits, and the grass is overgrown and ratty in a lot of areas. It's an executive course for the weekend warrior. I would recommend Encanto over this place, it's twice the course any day of the year.
Good Course
I have played the Biltmore a few times. This outing they had just aerated the greens on the Adobe Course. That made for a disappointing round.
GOOD DAY
PLAYED GOLF WITH FRIENDS I HAVE NOT SEEN FOR SOME TIME. VERY ENJOYABLE OUTIING GOLF AND STAFF EXCELLANT
Good course
Relatively easy course, in pretty good shape and fun to play.
Nice resort course
Live here in the Phoenix area, but did a staycation, since we live a ways away. Haven't played the Biltmore courses in about 15 years, but had a good time with my wife. Adobe course relatively flat with some man-made swales. Greens were firm and Bermuda grass, but rolled reasonably well, albeit a bit slower than I'm used to. Great staff. Pleasant day.
AZ Biltmore Adobe Course
Played 18 holes in 3 1/2 hours on a Sunday am, great place of play. Course was in great shape, staff was nice and weather was perfect. After round ate at restaurant and food was excellent. Overall a great experience for me and my wife.
Beautiful surroundings
The course was very nice! The surroundings were quite astonishing. The staff was mostly friendly, and food was good in the restaurant. The only issue was the greens weren't nearly as green as the rest of the course. All together it was nice, and being a holiday the course was nearly empty which was very nice!
Average
Decided to play another course in AZ - Biltmore was our choice but was sadly average. Very tough to find the course, even with GPS directions. Signage within resort is minimal. Finally arrived at bag drop where we received a somewhat friendly greeting from staff (have had much better at other courses). The Adobe course is much like playing on a flat open field - some undulations but minimal at best. We sometimes found it hard to figure out what was the next tee box. The best part about the round was looking at the amazing homes backing onto the course.
Living on past reputation
Years ago this was the place to be, anybody from Hollywood to Politicians to Music stars. Now it's just a so so course for the masses. Conditions were average for a "public access " course yet fees seemed to say this is something special.. it is not. Don't waste your time or money, spend just a little more and get a much nicer experience or spend less for the same.
Wide Open, Fun Course
My 6 year old son and I played this course mid-week while on vacation. We had an excellent time. I play middle tees and my son tees up from about 150 yards on Par 4's. We each posted better than our average scores. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens, were in very good condition. Not many people were playing the Adobe course, everyone wanted to play the Links course. Our gain. The fairways are wide and most misses are still playable. No lost balls or penalties for us. The challenges come from the bunkers near the greens and a lake on a par 5. We teed off at 11:30am, and no one was in front or behind us. We played in about 4 hours; we played leisurely. Staff was friendly overall. There is a restaurant with good food and a nice outdoor seating area with a view of the course. Views from the course are very good too. Only disappointment was the bunkers. Sand was very compact and difficult to play out of, which did not fit with the rest of the play or condition of the course.
Fast Play
We cruised around this open layout, without rushing, for a total time of 3:10.
Course was in good shape and forgiving. Greens are firm and slow.
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Find a deal to play this course as they ask $130, for non-residents, on the course website. It is good value, in the spring, anywhere around $60-$70.
