Some consider the Estates course (formerly known as Adobe golf course) at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club to be grand and stately, a prime example of golf course design in the pre-modern era, combining rare beauty with solid trickery. It makes for a round both relaxing and challenging played on lush 50-year-old fairways, with a spacious layout, reminding on of golf as it ought to be played: the glory days when graphite went into pencils and balls were only white.

The Adobe golf course at the Arizona Golf Club measures 6,430 yards from the white tees and comes in at par-71.

Due to the mild Arizona winters, the Adobe Golf Course at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is open year-round.

A gem

The Adobe course is a great "resort layout" ...Wide open with receptive greens. We played as a twosome in three hours. Great day

Over priced

This course has several holes running side by side which means golfers r continually hitting from the wrong fairway. It was in nice condition. The greens r small and in good condition. Green fee pricing at over $100.00 is a real stretch. There is value at around $60.00.

Biltmore Adobe - at 94F

T-time was 1:37.

Temp was 94F.

Rain earlier in the month made conditions excellent.

Played with friends down from Alberta, they commented that it was a great first round for their week in the valley.

Fairways were cut appropriately and 1st cut of rough was longer but not overwhelming.

Greens were in good shape, despite previous players not fixing ball marks. Didn't notice any dead spots on the course.

Beer cart made the rounds yet we stuck with water or Tonic the course provided.

The group had lunch in the restaurant and felt it was more than adequate.

Golf carts were well powered and didn't run into problems with the GPS ie dead zones.

I've played the Links course previously and enjoyed it as well.

A little too slow for me

Although the Adobe course and greens were in very good shape, the pace of play was too slow for the round to be totally enjoyable. We had a threesome as did the group ahead of us, but the way many of the holes run closely side-by-side caused a number of "crossover" wayward shots from other holes onto our holes. The pin placements were also very difficult, almost all of them being directly behind greenside bunkers,

Tee time was at 8am for the Adobe Course. Started right on time. The course was in great condition. Pace of play was great. Was in a foursome and we finished in 3.5 hours. Would definitely come and play again.

Good Day

Traditional layout w/average difficulty. You can stray off the fairway and into another and usually have a shot at getting to your green in reg. Just keep your eyes open for old ladies pocketing your ball. (Happened with us.)

Convenient location. They have another 18 called Links. More difficult.

POOR

Poor layout. The 2 courses ran are so close to one another you had to figure out which faraway was your. The starter did warn

Us to watch for people hitting to the wrong faraway . Course is flat with no trees separating the holes.

Didn't get 18 in

Our tee time was delayed by 30 minutes due to a late group buyout in the AM and then pace of play was well behind. As a result, our 2:15 tee off got pushed to 2:50 and combined with pace of play, we had to call it after hole 16 when it was too dark to play anymore.

Was upset the course didn't offer any sort of reimbursement, although I never asked.

Course in great shape

Played on a Thursday. Good pace of play despite being crowded. Greens rolled true and bunkers and fairways in great shape. Nice views. Pro shop was friendly and the Vienna hot dog stand was clutch. I'll be back again.

Art S

One of the best courses in the Valley for all items including price. The Biltmore courses have maintained their value and condition for decades and are always a safe bet. I live in Tucson and know when I need a place that will always be good, I go to the Biltmore. The staff under Dick Bates has always been consistent and remains incredibly personable and helpful over the years.
