Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Estates Course
About
Some consider the Estates course (formerly known as Adobe golf course) at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club to be grand and stately, a prime example of golf course design in the pre-modern era, combining rare beauty with solid trickery. It makes for a round both relaxing and challenging played on lush 50-year-old fairways, with a spacious layout, reminding on of golf as it ought to be played: the glory days when graphite went into pencils and balls were only white.
The Adobe golf course at the Arizona Golf Club measures 6,430 yards from the white tees and comes in at par-71.
Due to the mild Arizona winters, the Adobe Golf Course at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is open year-round.

Alle Jahre wieder
Seit Jahren machen wir Urlaub in Scottsdale und spielen diesen Platz immer wieder gerne. Diese Nostalgie wundervoll
What you see is what you get
Straight forward course. Not a lot of hazards or forced carries. Course in very good shape and a fun outing and good value on Golf Now.
Golf experience
Had a fun time; as a single golfing partners were great
Challenging "old style" resort course in Phoenix
A very nice play in the Biltmore district of Phoenix. The "Adobe" course is one of two courses available. Surrounded by large estate homes it has picturesque views of the Camelback Mtns. and a great practice facility so get their early so you can use it. The course itself is relatively flat and the greens were fast and true. The bunkers were well manicure but a bit crusty from irrigation water. Always one of the courses we try and play when in Phoenix.
Great course
One of my favorite courses in the valley. Moderately challenging with wide open fairways. The greens were a little slow, however it is a fun course and a great value.
Great value for a country club
Course isn't too challenging, but was in great shape on fairways and greens. Tee boxes were covered with divots, but not to the point where you didn't have a good lie.
A Little Windy!
Still able to shoot 88 with the gusty winds. Staff was great, layout and condition 9/10 Will play again soon.
Great experience
Playing a prime resort course for the cost of playing a municipal course was a fantastic deal. Thank you.
The reason we golf.
First class golf resort! ! !
The Arizona Biltmore is a wonderful golf experience.
A must for any true golfer.
Wide open, perfect for beginners, albeit not very interesting
This course is basically flat and wide open. It's near impossible to lose a ball. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking a no stress round. (If you play poorly here, it might be time to consider another hobby...) This isn't to say it's not a nice course - it is; I just felt like I should be playing with 1928 equipment to make it more interesting.
My wife and I were paired with a twosome of locals in the first group of the morning. We played at what we felt was a relaxed pace, and were off the course in just over 3 hours.
The course itself was in good condition, considering they're in the heart of their season. (In fact, there was a 70-player outing and the club championship later in the day.) The driving range, however, was destroyed. I'm also not entirely sure why they set the tee markers to be the entire width of every tee box on every hole... seems like the tees just get chewed up faster that way.
I'm not sure if walking is allowed or not - but it's highly recommended if permissible as the golf carts were old and in terrible shape; everything rattled, alignment off by about 30 degrees, windshield was falling off, etc... They did have small coolers mounted on them, though without any ice in them, those were basically useless.
If you rent clubs, give 'em a good look-over before setting out. My wife's rented set of Ping G30s were reasonably new, but the driver shaft was splintered/cracked at the hosel, which was a bit disappointed considering the $70 rental fee. (Speaking of which... is it really breaking the budget to in a sleeve of Pinnacles with the rental set?)
The locals get a great rate here - $59 for Arizona residents on the day we played. It cost us $95. I understand the peak season tee times, but this course is definitely _not_ worth that price. I'd happily return another time for $59/round, but given all of the other options in Scottsdale, nearly a hundred bucks per player for the Adobe course is akin to a good ol' fashioned stagecoach robbery.
Good track
I've always been a fan of both Biltmore courses although I don't remember thie Adobe being so tight. It has been several years since I played here. I never saw one Marshall and pace was very slow. There were four groups on one hole and we were always waiting. Some more sand in the bunkers would have been nice too.
Biltmore golf
Pace of play was slow.no one came out to get other golfers to pick up the pace.range balls are outrageous.greens were excellent condition.
Lovely traditional course
We got lost finding the entrance to this course, so add a few extra minutes if it is your first visit. We had to rush to the first tee, unfortunately, but we're pleased with the course itself once we were warmed up. Lovely greens that were consistent from hole to hole. Loved the views of classic homes that skirted the fairways. We had lunch at the course following our round and enjoyed that as well.
Good for early season play and high handicapper
Fairways are straight, wide and forgiving. Greens are relatively flat. Course is well maintained. A good place to work out the kinks in your early season play.
Playing dodge ball instead of golf during the weekend.
Unfortunately, never go on a weekend. The Adobe course the holes are laid out to close to each other that you end up playing dodge ball instead of golf. Also they should have a ranger monitoring this course in particular.
Buyer beware
I will never play here again. Clientele is very bad, picking up golf balls on 6 holes(if it's not yours it's someone else's so leave it alone), then lying about it. We actually drove up to the green and grabbed the ball that this guy hit to prove him wrong. 7 min tee time splits lead to a 5 hour round. Course layout is simple. The weather was great but I would have found better golf etiquette if the course was filled with 5 year olds.
Flat and boring
I sure am glad I got a deal playing this course . If I would have paid their normal rate I would have been very disappointed .
Easter early golf
Got a tee time early enough si the wives wouldn't get too upset and finished in 3 1/2 hours! Always a pleasure playing here!
Good course - forgiving fairways
Nice course in the middle of Metro Phoenix. Established course, fairways side by side, not between houses. Played my first round ever without losing a ball.
amazing course
i would like to play the course again, and i will recommend it to everyone
