TPC Scottsdale - The Stadium Course

Course was manicured to perfection, was a great experience and bucket list course checked off the list.

What an incredible day. This course was amazing in every way. From our knowledgeable caddie to the experience of playing a course on the pga tour was just incredible. This was one of the best experiences I have had as a golfer

$500 w green fees and tips is over the top for any single round of golf!!!!

Very enjoyable round of golf. Course was in perfect condition, played fair, and one of the top 5 courses I have played. Very traditional style of course in the desert, but perfectly maintained, and fun to play!

I played this course with my teenage sons, three weeks after the WM Open had played there. There was still a lot of construction going on taking down the stands and buildings, but that almost made the experience better. It was an awesome day that we will never forget. Pace is slower but didn’t bother us at all. The caddy we had for our group (Paul) made the experience of playing here worth every penny. Obviously expensive, but a once in a lifetime type of golf experience. Had a fantastic time, and the pro shop and practice facilities are worth getting there early and staying late!

Thoroughly enjoyed the pricey experience. Fun to have a forecaddie. Immaculate condition. Interesting seeing the stadium seating structures being dismantled in March.

Probably the best course I've ever played. Incredible shape, greens were very close to when they had the tournament. We had a great caddie, everything was just an incredible experience.

Did not disappoint, scratched off the bucket list!

We went to the course to experience the stadiums that are in place this time of year. That in itself is worth the expense one time. However, this was my 3rd. time to do this, so other factors came into play. The forecaddie system is mandatory, and personally I don't enjoy it. There is a lot of talking with the caddie trying to engage with all 4 members of the foursome and it did not help the pace of play. Our round was about 4.5 hrs.

Our trip to TPC Scottsdale might be one of the most enjoyable rounds I’ve played. The entire day was a great experience. I’ve watched the tournament on TV so many times but actually playing it was even more fun than I thought it would be.

The practice facility might be the nicest I’ve ever seen. With an afternoon time, we were sent off No. 10 to start, I think to make sure we got to play the closing stretches of holes that are so well known. We stopped to see the “Tiger” plaque in the desert left on 13 and that was cool to see. As a hacker, it was amazing to par holes 15-17! My tee shot on 16 probably would have been booed as I JUST missed the green. My ball was a few inches onto the collar but I two-putted for a 3. No. 18 is a monster and the tee shot for the pros from the back tees looks terrifying.

After the high of playing the famous inward nine, the front nine was just OK. I was surprised there were so many houses close to the cart paths on the first couple holes. The green complex on 3 with all the tiers was extremely difficult to putt. The par 3s on 4 and 7 are challenging but the last two holes weren’t that interesting to us as we were rushing to finish before it got dark.

No doubt that it is a REALLY costly round but needs to be experienced at least once. I’m glad I played it and can check it off my bucket list. Not so sure I’d want to play it again, mostly due to the price, but would happily do so at a cheaper rate. Can’t wait to watch the WMPO!

BIG RAY WAS BEST CADDIE I EVER HAD

Simply a great course in exquisite condition. Made it to the famous 16 before the sunset but then got dark very quickly. Pace was slow at times but I’ve had worse. Pricey but worth it. Hope to make it back one day.
