Palm at McCormick Ranch Golf Club

Greens were very nice. Several really awesome holes! Shot 4 over all cause Pine#18 ...weird hole, disappointing finishing hole. 19th Hole was great!

Anything off fairway or green was terrible. Losing a ball in 1’ of rough grass is not ideal. Nor losing a ball in a water hazard INSIDE A BUNKER. For $90 I’d expect a overall well maintained course. Please get the mower out!

Course was flooded on many holes, so tough to play snack bar was shut down at the turn, so we couldn’t get drinks, and the weather was very hot. Frustrating. I’ve played the course before, and it’s fine, but today was just disappointing due to flooding and no refreshments available.

I suspect it may be better in the high season. Last week I played a course that costs $20 more. I should’ve paid the $20 instead of saving it. Bunkers were in horrible condition, no sand, standing water, grass growing in them. Fairways and tee boxes were good. Pace of play great. Geese poop was thick in some areas and literally had to clean it off my ball. I’m playing there again tomorrow, only because I prepaid. It is a beautiful setting. Again, I suspect it will be better during Phoenix’s high season.

Every sand trap was FULL of water. Some hole looked like a bomb went off on them. Should be worth 35.00 per round. So disappointing.

Came to AZ for a weekend of golf with some buddies. McCormick Ranch was one of the most expensive courses we played and by far the worst. This course could be $20 for 18 holes and a cart and still be $19 over priced.

As expected many fairways have brown spot which is normal for this time of the year, but what was not expected was to have flooded sand traps, making them impossible to play. For the overall condition of the course prices are too high. There are courses right now that you can play for less money in much better conditions.

1st time playing course and have had a great time. Played with a member and we had a good time. Lots of laughs and good golf. I would play here again. I played the Palm course with fast greens and tough hole placement made it tough. Next time out will play Pine. Thumbs-up

Staff was great. Very friendly and great service. Course was in good condition with the exception of the sand traps. Sand traps were very hard. The greens were also not in great shape. All in all I had a good time playing here and wood play again.

Several ruts and holes along the holes and muddy spots. Plus they have not cut the rough in ages and it is all weeds, dead spots, ruts, and high grasses. My ball was just off the fairway and it took 15 mins to locate between all the weeds and high grassy areas.....I have played this course around 30x and i was totally shocked as to how bad they let it go....No ball washers and a few water fountains on the course....ball washers were removed for Covid and never put back....I would skip this course until they invest in getting it back into the shape it was years ago,,,,,VERY disappointed......
