Tee boxes and first cut were high enough to lose your ball. Entire course needed mowing. Layout was enjoyable. Greens were true, but with many bald spots. Range balls were scattered across the course. Disappointing for the money.

We left after ten holes and over three hours of play.

Rough overgrown, almost impossible to find a ball.

WAY too hung up on pace of play. Five minutes behind pace (not bad considering poor condition of rough) and they sent someone out to hassle our group four holes from the finish. No one behind us was waiting on us. I suspect everyone was looking for their balls.

The rough was so deep that if your ball went into it you could not find it. Everyone was spending so much time looking for their balls that the pace of play was terrible. Everyone was complaining. Just mow your grass. We are amateurs. They also had grass and weeds growing in their sandtraps and if there was water in the sandtraps it was slimey because it was sitting so long.

Round was $90 and the rough was an abomination. Any ball off the fairway in the slightest led to a 10 minute search through the rough through discarded & dead grass clippings. Rough was about 3” deep and ate shots alive. Every bunker was filled with water, some greens had pot holes. Round was worth maybe $40 at most with the condition the course was in.

Lots of tree work being done from past storms. Fairways pretty decent but rough just cut and clippings just left! Lost 3 balls that were only 2-3 feet off the fairway.

If you play, don't overpay!

Greens were very nice. Several really awesome holes! Shot 4 over all cause Pine#18 ...weird hole, disappointing finishing hole. 19th Hole was great!

Anything off fairway or green was terrible. Losing a ball in 1’ of rough grass is not ideal. Nor losing a ball in a water hazard INSIDE A BUNKER. For $90 I’d expect a overall well maintained course. Please get the mower out!

Course was flooded on many holes, so tough to play snack bar was shut down at the turn, so we couldn’t get drinks, and the weather was very hot. Frustrating. I’ve played the course before, and it’s fine, but today was just disappointing due to flooding and no refreshments available.

I suspect it may be better in the high season. Last week I played a course that costs $20 more. I should’ve paid the $20 instead of saving it. Bunkers were in horrible condition, no sand, standing water, grass growing in them. Fairways and tee boxes were good. Pace of play great. Geese poop was thick in some areas and literally had to clean it off my ball. I’m playing there again tomorrow, only because I prepaid. It is a beautiful setting. Again, I suspect it will be better during Phoenix’s high season.
