McCormick Ranch Golf Club features two lush manicured year-round courses amid the lovely views of Scottsdale. Both the Palm and Pine golf courses' championship tees lay to over 7,000 yards, and there are also the options of men's, seniors' and ladies' tee sets to allow everyone a crack at the tests offered by these golf courses.
Golf Illustrated selected the ninth hole of the Palm Course at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club to be "One of the USA's Top 18 Water Holes." It's just one of 10 water holes on the golf course, which, as you might imagine, also features lots of big palms. In all, the golf course plays to over yards from the blue tees, including four par-5 holes that measure over 500 yards.
A round of golf on the Palm Course at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club kicks off on the par-4 first hole, which plays close to 400 yards from the blue tee and requires a drive right-center to ensure a short-iron second shot.

Greens putted well but the course is in rough shape. Not a five star experience. Sorry

We played the Palms course and it was beautiful. Will recommend it to others. The pace of play was good.
Loved this course!
This was my first trip to Scottsdale. I used McCormick as a warm-up round before our bucket list round at TPC! To be honest, I had just as much fun here as I did at TPC. You definitely get your moneys worth here and it’s challenging enough, and definitely fun enough. The staff is super cool and the grounds are well kept. I would definitely come back and play again
Good but not great
While I enjoyed playing the course today, I would not rave about it due to the condition of the course.
The fairways in the front 9 were in good condition but on the back 9 they were mediocre with more bare patches than expected just off the fairways. If there are bare patches now then I would be surprised to see improvement as we get into the hot months.
I was also disappointed in the firmness of the greens and the packed sand in bunkers, plus multiple bunkers had pools of water in them.
I would play the course again but would first try other courses in the area.
In a positive note, I like the practice range - not all of the courses in the area have one!
Dont bother
Not worth the drive to get there or the money to pay for a municipal course type course. Dozens of better choices in the Valley.
