Palm at McCormick Ranch Golf Club

Time of year probably has something to do with the course conditions lots of wet spots and dead grass in the rough

I thought the course was challenging. The staff was great very helpful and friendly. Conditions were not fantastic but I guess as it should be for December

It was a chilly day in Scottsdale but the course was in very good condition. The staff was friendly and in fact I am playing MCCormick Ranch tomorrow.

Palms is a good for a warm up round for your golf trip to the greater Scottsdale area. Decent shot making required with a few strategic water features sprinkled in throughout.......it is a better design than the Pine.

The facility has good practice areas for chipping and putting and the greens on the course were good. Decent sand in the traps as well.

It’s rated exactly were it should be 3 - 3.5 stars

Don’t pay more than $45 just because it’s in the heart of Scottsdale because it is not worth it!

The Palm course is definitely the better of the two. There are some good design features scattered throughout the course and some nice water hazards. Greens where great and the bunkers had good sand. Good practice areas as well.

This is a great warmup round for your trip to the area.......this course is rated properly........3 - 3.5 stars.

Enjoyable afternoon. No pressure on the course and able to finish in 3 1/2 hrs. As always on the Palm 18 the water hazards came into play. Only slight negative is that the repair of ball marks on greens seems to be an issue on greens that otherwise were in much better shape than earlier this year when I played there last.

I played very early in the morning. The staff was very friendly. I felt like I had the course to myself. Beautiful scenery. The layout was nice. Not easy but not so difficult that I felt like I couldn’t play well out there. The only bad thing was, they paint the greens. So my ball was green every time I putted. Not a big deal, but it’s different than I’m use to. Overall I loved my experience. I’d play there again next vacay.

McCormick Palm is my favorite of the two courses. They're both good but Palm, in my opinion, is a tougher challenge with a lot of strategically placed trees and tough water holes. All of it is fair and usually a good value

Overall this is a convenient course to play. Having two courses is always a plus. Starters are awesome and cart guys are as well but pro shop staff could make you feel more welcome.

Here’s what confusing: you charge a competitive rate. You have a qualifier for the PHX Open. But your carts are embarrassing. Even the staff roll their eyes when asked about replacements stating it’s been a constant issue.

Palm has lots of water. Play your game. Water is not detrimental if you play well. Greens are crazy fast. Below every hole gives you a chance.

From the pace of play to the course conditions to the nastiness of Stan, the Course Ranger, this goat track is a must avoid. It’s not worth the money, nor is it worth the 5-6 hours of your life.

I love golf and play 2-3 times a week. I wouldn’t play this course again accompanied by Tiger Woods and a beauty queen. The best part? Leaving the parking lot.

Not the best condition because this course is yet to be overseeded. But it's a good track. Needs bunkers redonre - no sand, just dirt, and the carts should be replaced

McCormick Palm is one of the few courses in October still off the path so that’s a bonus. Was in good shape. The only negative was the sand traps that were hard as a rock

Great course great staff had a party of 13 and was running late and they made accommodations for us great way to start the weekend

Played the Palms today. Course was very nice and staff was extremely accommodating. GPS wasn't working so

they brought a replacement right away. Seeing I am from out of town I dont know much of the other area courses. but enjoyed the course and the staff.

Great layout, very scenic, excellent condition for the time of year with the exception of water in a couple of traps on the back nine. Premium on driver length and positioning.
