About
The executive golf course at Mountain Shadows Golf Club in addition to being an excellent course has the added benefit of having a picturesque location nestled in the foothills of Camelback Mountain, and it also offers views of the equally majestic Mummy Mountains. The oleanders and palm trees sprinkled throughout the course enhance the pleasant atmosphere. The golf course's 18th hole boasts beautiful views of the sunset during the twilight hours but the signature hole is the par-3 12th hole. It plays uphill toward Camelback Mountain and over a pond and brook to a double-tiered green that is well protected by bunkers.

The staff was very active and friendly. The course itself was a very fun time to play and a great place to work on your smaller irons.

Challenging par 3
Great course to challenge your short iron and putting skills.
Excellent fun short course
Super friendly and helpful staff. Played a "hot deal" in the afternoon on a very hot day. Fortunately, the course was wide open. Played for the first time after the redesign. Loved it. For the middle of a very hot summer, the entire course was in excellent shape. Plenty of bottled water was provided. A very nice touch. The course provides beautiful views of Mummy & Camelback Mountains. It is a "short course." You probably won't need anything longer than a 5 or 6 iron. The greens will provide the challenge. It's a great course for all golfers. The putting contest after the 17th hole provides some unique extra fun.
Great par 3 course!
Lived here a year & can’t believe I haven’t played this yet ....outstanding staff and starter! extremely unique course, in great shape minus the greens ....which were punched a few weeks ago, but they’re almost back. Highly recommend this course!!
They messed this course up
I used to love playing this course, they changed it recently and now the course sucks. It has ruined it for me and I will never play there again. It’s a shame
Solid Track
This course is a little over-priced since they did the renovation. Still the course is very fun for golfers of any skill level. Best thing about this place is the 4 person golf carts!
Pin placement
This course is awesome! Only thing was a couple of the pin placements. Other than that it was a lot of fun.
The Short Course
Put this course on your short list for Phoenix. Great layout with fun challenging par 3. Nice staff, good drinks, beautiful views of Camelback.
Fun course for the price!
This is a fun beautiful course that is relatively cheap and is great course to work on short game.
