Legend Trail Golf Club

Hadn’t played Legend Trails in a number of years. Course was in good shape for summertime. Loved how it wove in between the neighborhood. Lots of doglegs which made for some interesting shots. Great driving range and practice facilities.

This course is a true hidden gem in the Phoenix valley. The front 9 is straight forward, pretty standard. The back 9 is very challenging and very beautiful. It is severely underplayed in the summer, probably because the prices are about 20% high compared to the competition, and it's a bit of a drive. But golfers are really missing out... the temperature is about 8 degrees color than the down valley courses, and LT is a lot better than almost every other public course in the valley.

The only thing that they need to earn 5 stars is gps in the carts and a restaurant. Great track, in excellent shape.

We played Legends today for $50, hot deal through golfnow. We played in about 3 hours as a twosome, it was amazing. The course was in great shape, greens rolling well. We will definitely be back!

Arizona summer, they give you no water or towels, who does that?

I have been a big fan of Legend Trail .

I played it the first time before it was open to the public. Always in good shape and very challenging but fair

Course is in good shape- great layout greens good shape - pace of play great- mid afternoon- hot

Perfect place to get out and work on a few things with nobody rushing you etc…..

Outside service staff are the best around - friendly and helpful

So this is always a great and challenging course. And in good shape despite it being summer. So electricity down at the course, no food or beverage cart, but plenty of water throughout. Pace was excellent and all fairways, bunkers and greens in good shape. And super friendly staff.

greens were aerated recently so they ran slow. didnt have the best transition into summer. fairways had quite a few dead spots. some tee boxes needed work

I came to Carefree to visit my family. I love to tee it up with my brother and Dad tags along to watch. It was so refreshing to see a fairly priced tee time before 10 am for a non-resident such as myself. I travel a lot, and I was getting gouged in Las Vegas and California. It was so affordable I came back four days in a row! Couldn't get enough. Loved the layout and the greens were in much better shape than some of the other courses in the neighborhood. Friendly staff. I will definitely be back next time I visit the fam.

One of my faverate courses- showed up in extreme heat- no one there, the range was closed for renovations. After putting & chipping, I asked the starter to go early. He needed to check with the Pro shop- Pro shop said NO. Need to wait for specified tee time- starter told me no one had tee'd off for 60 minutes.

For starters, range was closed and arriving early to practice, we were told that even though nobody had teed off in over an hour (hot time of day) that we couldn’t tee off until actual tee time due to booking through GolfNow. What a joke, especially with them closing practice range. Played there many times but might be our last.

Range under construction look like for a couple months and no practice chipping even. They should notify you before selecting tee time that range is not open.
