Talking Stick Golf Club - Piipaash Course

Before I started playing I asked what the policy was with the golf course on what the policy was because of the weather they said I need to check with Golf now they were very unsure of how to proceed ,which is why I played or I would’ve never teed off because of the weather.(steady Rain)

Paired with another single we where playing behind a five-some

( on a weekend ) they wouldn’t let us play through it was raining and they were playing slow, so I stopped after 8 holes.

course it was very good and challenging from the gold teas. People were very nice and joined up with another threesome and had a great time the only problem there which was a huge problem and why I would not go back there is that they had a ridiculous amount of gnats. At any given time you could have 50 knats all over you and it is just not worth it

We liked the layout and the course had some nice views. Good pace of play. A little less than 4.5 hours for 18.

Staff is not friendly or helpful. Checking in lady was going thru the motions and when finished the guys acted like I was invisible. Didn’t offer to clean my clubs. I’m always a big tipper. Saw cart lady twice in 18 holes. Too many options to play here often. Disappointing . . . .

Hot day! 40 degrees! But riding cart and lots of cold water every second hole. Great service. Course in good shape and looked good. Played from gold tees and it was a challenge . Would play again.

Played as a foursome at 7:00 finished before 11:00. Never saw a group in front or behind. Played the North course, great condition for the end of summer. Saw the cart girl a few times. Will make it a Scottsdale course to play next trip.

Course was very fun. Super wide and forgiving great for all

I rated the Staff Friendliness solely on the attitude of the on-source assistant. Overall all other staff members were excellent. Unfortunately, the individual monitoring pace of play was a deterrent to the enjoyment of play doe to his attitude. He kept telling us we were way behind the pace of play and told us we needed to play faster. Once would have been enough but he chose to say he’d be watching us and even said we needed to play faster at the top of my swing on the 10th tee. I asked him to please be quiet during our tee shots. I would add that we hit at 8:46 on the first tee and were at the 10th tee at 10: 51. I checked my watch at the 18th after holding my putt and it was 1:01, 4 hours and 15 minutes. If that’s slow play, the expectation should be stressed by the starter before the first tee, who by the way was a wonderful host. I must admit, I should have a better report had the “Ranger” been polite.

Both courses were awesome to play. Would play again next time we visit
