About
The Talking Stick Golf Club, designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, offers two uniquely different courses that each offer many options according to your playing skill. The Piipaash course (previously known as South at Talking Stick Golf Club), with its tree-lined fairways and raised greens defended at the sides offers a more straightforward style of play than the O'odham Course (formerly known as North at Talking Stick Golf Club).
A round of golf on the Piipaash Course at the Talking Stick Golf Club kicks off on a par-4 hole that measures 405 yards from the Black tees. Three long par-5 holes ensures that power golfers will get their kicks, with the fifth hole coming in at 516 yards, the 1fourth measuring 541 and the 16th playing to 548. The round of golf concludes on a relatively shorter par 4 that measures 323 yards.
After a round of golf on the North Course at the Talking Stick Golf Club, head back to the Wildhorse Grille for drinks and a bite to eat.

Course was very fun. Super wide and forgiving great for all

Play Assistant on Course Not Helpful or Friendly
I rated the Staff Friendliness solely on the attitude of the on-source assistant. Overall all other staff members were excellent. Unfortunately, the individual monitoring pace of play was a deterrent to the enjoyment of play doe to his attitude. He kept telling us we were way behind the pace of play and told us we needed to play faster. Once would have been enough but he chose to say he’d be watching us and even said we needed to play faster at the top of my swing on the 10th tee. I asked him to please be quiet during our tee shots. I would add that we hit at 8:46 on the first tee and were at the 10th tee at 10: 51. I checked my watch at the 18th after holding my putt and it was 1:01, 4 hours and 15 minutes. If that’s slow play, the expectation should be stressed by the starter before the first tee, who by the way was a wonderful host. I must admit, I should have a better report had the “Ranger” been polite.
Both courses were awesome to play. Would play again next time we visit
Talking stick
The course was in great shape but there was too many bugs to the point where it was uncomfortable and bug spray didn’t work.. Course layout was boring and staff wasn’t the friendliest.
Ok course.
Nicely kept course but nothing I’d drive that 40 minutes to play again. So many nicer courses to play in the area for the same price. Seemed like we were being pushed to start early and the pace was pretty fast. The cart girl came by often which was nice.
Great Golf at Talking Stick Resort
Friendly staff from bag drop to pro shop to starter. Teed off a few minutes early and course was in good condition with very good greens.

Course is in fantastic shape considering recent storms. Caught up with slow groups after front 9 but still 3:30 to play 18.
Great shape
Had great time and pace of play was very fast. Really no gripes about either course, have enjoyed Talking Stick every time I have played!
