About
Arizona Traditions Golf Club offers a parkland style golf course that has panoramic views of the White Tank Mountains. An enhancement project for the course in 1998 put in an abundance of trees, shrubs, and flowers on the course. Although it has a short layout, the golf course is quite challenging with difficult sloped greens and rolling fairways lined with forestry. Rolling hills, extensive greenside and fairway mounding, and water hazards provide an interesting game. Five sets of tee boxes ensure that golfers of all skill levels can enjoy the course. Arizona Traditions Golf Club also has a driving range, chipping area, and putting green for golfers to use.

Traditions
Traditions is an amazing course for the value and the added tees make it a great experience for golfers of any level. Tee to green is exceptional! Combo card on the 3’s would definitely help with pace of play. Golfer’s playing from responsible tees will also help pace of play. I chased “Ed” from 🇨🇦 all day! 20 my senior. Great player! Great experience! Good game coach!
Good course for the price!
I found this to be challenging yet enjoyable course to play. Pace of play was good as opposed to other dates I’ve played.
I found a few greens need to be looked at though as a couple of them have ruts in them.
Other than that I really enjoyed my round.
Looking forward to playing there again!

The course it a little rough. But for the money it was alright.
The shotgun start was a surprise, but it seemed to work out fine!

Fun round
We enjoyed playing this course. It is in pretty good shape - greens are in very good shape, but are running fast.

Nice round!
Greens were in great shape. They are tricky. Lots of undulation and slope. Some difficult approaches to make the ball stop and not roll a long way.

Nice course, slow pace of play
I always like golfing at Arizona Traditions. Prices are reasonable especially in the afternoon. Staff is always friendly. Course is nice. My only complaint is pace of play. There is always at least one slow-poke group that holds everyone else up. I wish the staff would get more proactive about identifying these groups and making them skip a hole or find other ways to speed up. I realize people have different skill levels which affects pace, but there are plenty of little things that can add up to improve this, like having everyone ready to tee off in sequence or have their club with them on the fairway instead of walking back to the cart. Also, there is no reason to wait for the farthest ball hit first-- just go when ready. The Grand adopted "ready golf" a few years ago and it helped.

Overall a very nice layout.
The course was in good shape. Accuracy off the tee is required due to the tight fairways.

Always a good day
Another fun round at AZT. The only drawback was a slow pace for the front 9, but things moved much better on the back. The course was in very good condition, and I really appreciated the conditions on the greens, despite the severe sloped areas on some greens, they rolled true and held approach shots well. Always a great bang for the buck.

Great course in Surprise AZ
The course was challenging with some real tough greens! It was a fun day even though we were only able to finish 12 holes before the cold and darkness forced us to stop. The group ahead of us was slow (because of the group ahead of them) so that chewed up a lot of time.
My only beef about this course is they don't send out email confirmations of the tee time... that would be a handy reminder of your time of play.

Very poorly maintained.
Trenches on the greens that were never properly leveled. All the rough is burned out, almost looks like the desert itself. Course used to be very nice. What happened?

Staff was so helpful and friendly. Unfortunately there was no one controlling the pace of play. Backed up 4 groups at a time at every tee box. Payed for and wanted to play 18 , yet we were only able to get 9 in. It should not take 3 hours to play 9 holes.
