About
Arizona Traditions Golf Club offers a parkland style golf course that has panoramic views of the White Tank Mountains. An enhancement project for the course in 1998 put in an abundance of trees, shrubs, and flowers on the course. Although it has a short layout, the golf course is quite challenging with difficult sloped greens and rolling fairways lined with forestry. Rolling hills, extensive greenside and fairway mounding, and water hazards provide an interesting game. Five sets of tee boxes ensure that golfers of all skill levels can enjoy the course. Arizona Traditions Golf Club also has a driving range, chipping area, and putting green for golfers to use.

Traditional golf course
This is a mostly member play golf course with plenty of trees, narrow fairways and very slopey greens. Have to play it a few times to figure out where to aim. It’s in good condition and was a lot of fun. We were following a tournament so part of the round was slow, then pace picked up and we finished in good time. There are a few desert areas but not much - it’s mostly grass and hills.

Worst Pace of Play I’ve Ever Seen
Had an 11:40 tee time and still couldn’t finish. There was a delay on morning times due to frost so understandably they were behind. However, the staff member working the counter didn’t mention they were behind an hour. Didn’t offer a rain check or refund, the starter was instructing groups to wait on the first tee until the group in front cleared the green due to a “bottleneck” on the third hole. Never saw a marshal the rest of the day once we left the first tee box. The group in front of us was so slow the group in front of them was long gone and we were just finishing hole 12 at 4:30 and we teed off at 12:40. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had on a golf course. I will say it was in good condition and the greens were rolling nicely but taking 4 hours to only play 12 holes really just ruined it for me. Left such a sour taste in my mouth I may never go back.

Great course but pace of play was an issue
We were backed up at every hole until the sun went down, didn’t get through 18 but got to play a majority of the course. Enjoyed playing a lot, cool course with lots of fun par 3’s and challenging par 5’s.

On Golfnow I booked for tee time at 12:39pm but when I got to the golf course they told me it was a 1 PM shotgun took 2 1/2 hours to play seven holes quit after eight.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Too slow
At one point we had 4 groups on one hole. Staff did finally address but took over 2.5 hours for first 9. Started with 20 minute delay to start
