About
Arizona Traditions Golf Club offers a parkland style golf course that has panoramic views of the White Tank Mountains. An enhancement project for the course in 1998 put in an abundance of trees, shrubs, and flowers on the course. Although it has a short layout, the golf course is quite challenging with difficult sloped greens and rolling fairways lined with forestry. Rolling hills, extensive greenside and fairway mounding, and water hazards provide an interesting game. Five sets of tee boxes ensure that golfers of all skill levels can enjoy the course. Arizona Traditions Golf Club also has a driving range, chipping area, and putting green for golfers to use.

Cart Policy
The course was in relatively good condition except for the tee boxes--they were often in bad shape.
My only complaint was finding that your cart policy would not allow 3 carts per foursome even though two of the carts were personal carts. Only one was rented. I don't know your reasoning for this but it made no sense to me.
Don’t Go on Tournament Days!
I scheduled a tee time for 12:36. I arrived at 11:30 to warm up. I was advised there were no carts because they had 2 tournaments going consecutively and were running 15-20 minutes slow on tee times. I got my cart at 12:25, ten minutes to my original tee time but did not go off until near 1:00. Problem 2 is the have groups tee’ing off 8 minutes apart causing major backup, took me 2 hours 45 minutes to play 9. I left and did not finish the round. My advice is to make sure no tournaments the day you book or prepare to have a bad time, it was my worst experience so far at traditions. No issue with staff though, friendly! Whomever runs ior owns it is disorganized!!!

Fun layout
I always have fun playing here. It’s a shorter course, but you can’t just stand up and bomb driver every hole. You have to play smart. Some par-4s are reachable from the tee and some force you to play target golf. Fun layout. The pace of play this time of year is always slower, but it’s 72* sunny, perfect weather so I can’t complain.

Great Course!
This is my favorite courses in Surprise! Best for the value and all around solid course. Only thing was the green speed was ridiculously fast, and the pin locations on the slopes are are a little questionable. I consider this my home course and will be back often.

Really good course
I first played this course during a tournament and immediately decided that it was worth the 20 mile drive to play again. My only complaint is that it seems as if they are starting players in eight minute intervals which is way too fast, it does give you any cushion. We were right on top of the four-some in front of us the whole round and we had the folks behind us on our heels at the same time.

Middle of the road
Have played many courses in the Phoenix area. Best part of the course was the staff. Super friendly and helpful. This would rank middle of the road as far as course condition and price. All depends what you are looking for. Sure there are better courses, but there are also worse. I felt what I paid was fair for what I got. I will probably return just because of location in relation to where I live.

Could be better
Pace of play was very slow, had to quit early. Couldn't handle the waiting around anymore. You can't have 8 minute tee times in the afternoon with cart path only golf. They need to spread out the tee times to 12 minutes while they are overseeding. This is only fair.
Greens were diseased and bumpy. All grass needs to be cut better. I generally like this course and have enjoyed it in the past, however, there appears to be some disregard right now paying attention to the details. They could and should do better.
