Los Caballeros Golf Club
About
Rancho de Los Caballeros offers everything from horseback rides through the desert to hot stone massages at the spa. This historic dude ranch is also known as one of the state's most popular golfing destinations. Golf Digest ranked the Rancho de Los Caballeros golf course in the top five in Arizona and nationally, it's ranked in the top 100. The layout sprawls across rolling terrain and incorporates two large lakes into the design. The course climbs up 2,100 feet at its highest point providing stunning views of Vulture Peak to the south and the Bradshaw Mountains to the north. The par-4 13th is the signature hole. It features several changes in elevation and a small, undulating green that is also heavily guarded by bunkers. In addition to the course, the golf club at Rancho de Los Caballeros also has multiple driving ranges, practice putting greens, and there's also a short-game practice area.

Down hill, down wind, 4th hole - Par 4 Photo submitted by dannymustang07 on 03/02/2015
couple of long par 4's on the back and into the wind
My first time at Los Cab after getting good feedback from friends about the place. It did not dissapoint. Beautiful day and a 12:00 start time with a pretty good breeze picking up as we went along. The wind made the inward nine play extremely long. We had a great time and enjoyed our afternoon completing our round in 3 and a half hours. Great views and challenging golf holes made this a great outing.
Slightly demanding but fu
This is a great track and can challenge most players. Some fairways are very generous but a good mix of tight tee shots too.
Excellent clubhouse and Pro shop
Lovely setting on far west side of Phoenix-country like setting. fairways in excellent condition--greens suffering from infestation of Poa weed grass. Made greens inconsistent to put. Lovely location and set up like a resort type complex.. Staff at check in seemed somewhat unfamiliar with Golf Now process.
Great course, fantastic pace of play.
The course was in great condition, the greens were rolling true, and fantastic pace of play. I played in 3 hours this time but I have played this course before in 2 1/2 hours before. This is truly a very fun course and would definitely recommend it to people looking to play in the northwest part of Phoenix, it is definitely one of the top 3 in this section of The Phoenix valley. It is worth the drive out to Wickenburg. It has a very unique atmosphere that I have never seen anywhere else, a cowboy golf atmosphere.
Worth the drive!
Took us about 35mins from Surprise. This is an awesome course. Every hole commands your attention. The beautiful scenery surrounding each hole is a perfect distraction. The finishing holes are the toughest we have found yet in the Pheonix area to date. A must play.
Always enjoy Los Cab
3 and 1/2 hour round love playing this challenging course staff is always great!
Great course in an old west setting
Challenging course that tests your short game and putting. Fantastic greens that rolled smooth and true but very fast.
Great course . . . but over rated!
A great well manicured golf course - however, over rated at $125/round - $75 through Golf Now was at the upper end of reasonable.
Beautiful and enjoyable round!
My wife and I needed a weekend golf getaway but didn't want to deal with the hub bub of the metro AZ golf and spring training. After some research we found Los Caballeros and Wickenburg. It was all we were hoping for. The course was in great condition and the beauty was amazing. The course has a few challenges and is laid out well. With all the different sets of tee boxes you can make it as easy or challenging as you desire. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If you want to eat in town, don't pass up the eateries in Wickenburg. Super friendly and fun little town.
Nice course
A nice course with western touch. Good value . Some of the elevated greens were tough for me but then, I'm a 24 handicap so I have other problems as well. The drive is worth it
This course in narrow for a desert course but a good challenge
Enjoyed the round, fairways in great shape, greens fair. Enjoyed all their facilities , range, putting, chipping.
Had lunch and food was great and staff was friendly.
Good Variety for play
Great course! Excellent condition/beautiful scenery. Weather was perfect.
Nice course with VERY friendly staff
This was a fun course to play and worth the drive from Phoenix. Staff is very friendly and price was really low from golfnow. Lots of elevated greens with fairly wide fairways. Greens had some issues with a fungus but still putted reasonably well. Not nearly as hard as slope/rating would make you think.
Wonderful Day
First time playing this track. Great practice facilities. They replace balls regularly. Sometimg the higher price plush clubs don't do in the north valley; they clean your clubs before you go out. They don't crowd the course. My wife and I went out and we were able to play as a twosome, but the couple in front of us asked us to join up. Good thing. This course has uphill par threes and fives, double dogs and some false fronts. The greens are true and fast. Will definitely return for $55.
Elevated greens.
This course has tight fairways and elevated greens. Many blind shots to small uphill greens. The course is in good condition. The staff is friendly. Beautiful setting
Gréât desert course
A bit far from Phœnix but it worth it. Very nice condition and gréât facilite freindly people.
Los Caballeros
I like the course very much....great condition, greens roll true and fast, fairways provide good lies. Interesting layout, elevated tees and greens, good sand in the bunkers. Staff were very friendly, the grill has good food. The range, putting green, chipping green and the first and tenth tees are in close proximity to the clubhouse. A very good golf experience and worth the drive from Phoenix.
great track
Excellent layout, some very pretty desert/golf views.
The greens are not a consistent color but they were quick and interesting to play.
There are a couple of tight spots where you need to pay attention to where other players are at.
I am looking forward to playing there again.
Excelent condition
good layout and in good shape, not crowded, did not wait om tee boxes
nice course great views
took a while to drive to course but worth it...played for $55....4 hour round...great views
