Making great golf memories
Had another great golfing adventure @ Laguna Seca. The staff was quick and friendly. The pace of play was great. The greens are slow but if you hit it in the rough, it’ll sit up nice instead of sitting down. I like the old school carts that go a lil faster and doesn’t gps lock you out. If I had a choice between here and Del monte down the road, I would choose Del Monte just cause of the greens, but still a fun track. I shot a 92 with 6 pars for my first time there
Challenging course with elevation
Very nice course with challenging elevation and two water crossings. Good value for the money
Bumpy cart paths
I have played here many many times for many years. It is a very nice course. But. The cart paths there have been in very bad shape for so many years.A couple months ago they fixed the one on hole #8. But not anywhere else. I guess financial problem. Hopefully they have more support this year so they can fix the rest of cart paths. And remodel bathrooms. I recommend this course.
Great Layout w/ decent conditions
Laguna Seca is always one of my favorite layouts in the Peninsula. course conditions are remaining steady. Gone are the hit and miss days of not knowing what you’ll get when you show up. Greens roll nice and smooth at a moderate pace and the fairways have decent lush conditions throughout.
being it was the 4th of July holiday weekend with perfect weather, the 4.5 hour round seemed very acceptable. I did knock down the rating for staff friendliness. Not because of the folks in the pro shop. They were fine. But because apparently the general manager decided to change my tee time to accommodate other golfers. This was done without any notification to me and what irked me as the explanation to me was that I was a single and it was done to accommodate others. I get that no problem, accept that there was two other single’s in the group as well. As a local and prior LS club member, that didn’t sit well with me.
But it’s still a fun track and the 3 birdies on the day got me over my issue!
Great value course.
Played in the afternoon on a Sunday as a twosome with a cart for around $65 each. Great price for a nice course in good condition.
Enjoyable walk
Course in good shape - not perfect but good, and greens were true and rolled at a good pace. Great setting in the hills and great views from the high points in the course. Under 6200 from longest set of tees, but by no means an easy course. Good value for the Peninsula.
Beautiful and interesting course
Laguna Seca is mostly protected from the wind, and has a great variety of terrain and distance. It's always a challenge, especially if you have a hard time going straight.
I booked through golf now and they charged me twice. I showed up to my tee time payed and the received an email saying I was being charged again. Not cool. Having the hardest time getting a hold of golf now. Not happy about it
The course is always fun. The bunkers are terrible, hard dirt. Other than that it’s a nice course. Also they told golf now I didn’t show up for my tee time and now they are charging me twice.
Laguna Seca golf in June
Course was in great condition. Green fairways, rough was cut down. Greens were in great shape, holding shots and no dry or diseased spots as in the past. Friendly staff and nice place to have a beer and a bite to eat after the round.
Course in great shape!!!
Love to go back to this course every possible time!!! Its always fun!!!
