The Club at Pelican Bay - South Course

Greens had been over sowed and sanded...and not looked more like bunkers then greens. The locals were rude and abusive when my playing partner stepped pass the OB marker to get his visible ball. The same guy most likely owns a home next to the airport and complains about jet noise.

Course is inexpensive to play but not worth it. Greens are bad, no grass , lots of bumps.
The same for fairways.

I have played this course for 19 years. It is in good shape for as dry as our weather has been in this area. Greens were fast today.

Tee's were in good condition but the greens were very poor. Lots of bare areas on them and sand. Fairways were poor to good but more poor ones. Staff were nice.

I liked playing here. The course is in good condition except for some of the greens. It is well worth the money.

Nice layout but don't bother to bring a putter. Hit the green area and take an automatic two put. Some greens have little to no grass. The ones that do have some grass are very rough.

For the money the course was fine. Would play again over other nearby courses that were more money and not very good shape.

For the 25.00 we paid, the course was ok.Some greens were in bad shape but playable.Layout was ok Not a fan of courses winding through housing developments.As I said last minute tee time 25 bucks. Ok.

Fairway in very good condition.
1/2 of the Greens were in horrible condition. Probably due to it being winter and the greens are shaded most of the day and do not have enough sun. Lots of bare (dirt) spots and several green unable to put out.
Other than that it was an enjoyable time. My son who is a disabled Vet (Iraq War) really enjoyed the faiways . he kept saying that they were different than all other golf coursed because of the Mogul's all throughout the fairways. Although again the greens left a lot to be desired.
We both will play there again

The course in general was nice but several greens were Terrible. Mostly dirt with little grass.

Greens need work, and are in the process of coming back. The ones in decent shape rolled pretty true. Fairways and t-boxes all in good shape. Always a fun play @ Pelican Bay.

Some of the greens are in poor condition. A couple of the fairways had very little grass. Course is in good condition in general. The review screen provided not user friendly at all. Slide bars very difficult to move so hard to give an accurate rating.

I have played here a few times recently because the price on Golfnow is great. There are a few greens that need to be repaired. I like the 15th hole with its island green. A good tee shot gives you a chance to be on in two. Good feeling when you par this hole. Birdies are makeable with a good second shot. I enjoy playing here but sometimes play is slow because of a few holes that seem to back up.

First hole par 4 and a canal in front of the green ! One Island green as well ! Water hazards along side nearly every hole makes for interesting play....If you hate to loose a ball not your kind of course, but play within your game and you will be rewarded !!! Friendly staff , fairways were great, greens had a few bare spots on a couple,,,but overall in good shape and moderately fast.

I have played this course over the years and it has gone way downhill. The greens are not even puttable, and the fairways are half seeded with winter rye. I doubt there is any other sod beneath it. Kinda sad, this used to be one of my favorites.
Do your self a favor and play Deltona for $7 more.

People were very accomodating. The greens were in sad shape. Rest of the course was fine.

Very nice challenging course. Fairways were in great shape, but a couple of greens need some work. Very nice pace of play. No practice facility for warm-up.

The greens were some of the worst I have seen. Tee boxes were in good shape but fairways could use some TLC. Course flow was good from hole to hole. The course had no washroom facilities on the front nine and only one throughout the whole course. The washrooms at the club house were so dirty that I wouldn't even use them. Someone needs to take a serious look into the management of this course. At this time I would not send anyone to this course. They should have paid me to play it. The pace of play was great because there wasn't many players on the course. I could see why!

Course is very challenging to average golfer. Course undergoing maintainance. Greens in need of repair.
