Mission Inn Resort & Club - Las Colinas Course
About
Las Colinas is one of two championship golf courses at Mission Inn Resort. It is less challenging than the other course, El Campeon, but both provide enjoyable and unique rounds. Las Colinas sprawls across gently rolling hills with elevation changes that are less startling than those found throughout the older El Campeon course. Twisted oak hammocks and a sprinkling of lush pines accent Las Colinas. The golf course has an inland links layout that boasts wide-open, forgiving fairways and large, receptive greens. There is an interesting variety of risk/reward opportunities as well as a few forced carries. The course has many player-friendly features but its classic architecture does call for a fair amount of accuracy, especially on its signature hole, the par-5 12th. Nicknamed "Alligator Alley," this 493-yard hole features a winding, tree-lined fairway.

Golfer Reviews
Practice Area Needs Help
Great course. Fun layout but highly dissatisfied with the quality of the practice range. It was all sand from heavy use. Signs asking to hit from inside the ropes but everyone moved back about 5 yards just to find some grass to hit from. You would expect much more quality at the rates charged.
Also, it was a 5 hour round with a slow threesome in front of us and never seen a group in front of them. Ranger needs to monitor this a little better.
Overrated
Very slow five hour round, four dollars for bottled water, six dollars for 12 ounce can domestic beer, fairways and tea boxes average. For the price way subpar and overrated. Better courses for better prices are out there.
Not Impressed
Five hour round, subpar fairways and Tee box’s for the price , $6.12 ounce cans of domestic beer. There are better course’s out there for better price..
Top Tier Course
An elite course but worth it only when a great Tee Off deal is available
Great layout
I love this course favorite parts is when it's gets into the woods away from houses greens were great fast but not super fast
Beautiful course, unpleasant sprinklers
The course is top notch, few areas of repairs but not enough to grip about. We had an amazing value due to a last minute GolfNow booking. I did find it very unpleasant and borderline rude that we were on pace of the course and the last 5 holes we had to play through their sprinklers on and being drenched. Knowing we were out there, the right thing would be to time them after your last round of golfers. Great course besides that.
Great course for the money
Played as a single, third time playing and was in great condition
Cart locks itself in wrong place
They have these green signs to tell you when to turn off to the cart path. BUT before that or beyond that on the rough the cart locks and you have to backup - you get no warning because it does that nowhere near the signs. WORSE yet you back up then head to the cart path and it keeps locking up and will NOT let you go to the cart path. I will NOT play here again
Great Place To Play
Should be on your list of places to play. Recovery from a recent green punch. The only fireside is that the ruff has grown so much that it makes this play multiple strokes higher. Step off the fairway - good luck finding. Evening falls to the bottom. Biting the fairways is a must to enjoy.
Great Course
Booked on GolfNow, beginning of August in Central Florida we had the place to ourselves. Great condition, great layout, very fun course to play. Will be playing again next time.
Awful
Awful condition of course, including fairways cart paths and hole conditions
Absolutely NO WATER ON COURSE with one beverage cart we did not see till 13/14
no rain checks given for thunderstorms and torrential downpours with pooling water on the course
