Bent Creek Golf Course
About
Since the opening of Bent Creek Golf Course in 1989, the 6,420-yard, par-71 course has provided a challenging golf experience for residents of Northeast Florida and visitors alike.
Crafted by renowned architect Bobby Weed with consulting services by Mark McCumber, Bent Creek's meandering terrain takes golfers through a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, towering pines and alongside creeks and swales. The championship layout boasts Bermuda grass greens, plush fairways and a state-of-the-art lighted practice facility - home of the Bent Creek Golf Academy.
From the back tees, Bent Creek carries a rating of 71.6 and a slope of 136. The challenge starts with the first hole, which measures 538 yards from the gold tees, just 20 yards short of No. 15, the longest hole on the golf course.

Happy
Course is in good shape green looks bumpy but putt smooth.
Not good
Greens were a mess. Fairways thin and pa e of play was not good. 11 bucks for a small bucket of range balls. REALLY
Bent Creek is a great course
Very much enjoyed our round of golf. The course was not overly busy which helped tremendously. Too many courses are overbooking leading to very long and frustrating rounds.
The staff is always pleasant and eager to provide a quality experience.
Will return to play again.
Wonderful Course; Friendly staff
Though the staff was working on the course, they were friendly and accommodating. The course was in very good condition. The course was not crowded and the pace of play was good even though we caught up to the group ahead of us who were too busy jaw boning instead of playing. (Sadly, a common experience.) Will play the course again.
Awesome Course
Great layout...In much better condition than a lot of courses right now...Fun track...
Well managed course
My third time playing Bent Creek and each time has been an enjoyable experience. The couse is well maintained and for the money, you cant beat it! Kudos to the staff
Call first
Course was being under maintenance but no warning on here about playing 9 only twice at full price. I am sure in a couple weeks it will be in good shape. Just disappointed no flags on here prior to playing
Good Practice facility, course needs work
Signed up for 18 holes & @ checkin was told the back 9 are closed for aeration & we had to play the front 9 twice. I think that should’ve been mentioned before we bought on GolfNow instead of being told @ the course. Tee boxes & fairways in fair shape, greens in good shape, was hoping for a nicer course based on their practice area.
Awesome greens! Awesome value
Fun course in good shape. I loved the greens they were undulating, challenging, and hard to read, I’m usually a good putter and they gave me a real workout. Great value course. I will definitely play again when I’m in town.
Great course with friendly staff.
Played here for the first time and it’s a super fun course. Lots of rolling hills which makes the course tough but not to tough where I’m losing balls left and right going OB.
First time
First time playing here. The back nine played very slow. Course conditions were ok. Had a lot of sand on the greens. Fairly tight course. Most hole have water on one side and tree trouble on the other. This is a course you need to play a couple times to know where to hit certain shots.
Please enforce the pace of play!
I have been complaining about the pace of play for a long time! This course really needs a marshal that will enforce the pace of play. I was in a foursome playing from 3 different tee boxes and we still had to wait on a twosome i n front of us! These guys were literally waiting for the group ahead of them to leave the green before they would tee off!. they were older guys that couldn't hit far but playing the tee box after the tips!!!!
Lack of common sense
45 minute delay. They stacked all the carts at the first tee box and there was no sense or urgency to maintain pace of play.
Overall, the course layout is decent but there’s a number of greens that have some really bad spots. Practice facilities are pretty good but think $70 is a total overspend for these conditions and pace of play.
